My son wanted something hearty. I wanted something light. So we went to the garage food hall. I decided to try Poke Guru. I barely interacted with an employee, except when they handed me my food. Orders are done on a large digital menu. If you're short like me, it can be hard to reach selections on the top of the screen, because the unit sits on a counter. I decided to make my own poke bowl. I can't eat gluten, so it was a fantastic surprise to not only see they list...
SOOO GOOOD. Came first time today and loved it. My family is from a pacific island and we are serious about our poke - very hard to find decent poke in indianapolis. You can tell this place pays attention to the ingredients they use to build their bowls. Each individual ingredient from the pineapple and edamame to the wonton chips was FRESH made - no cans, no bags. Sauces were yum, AND they did the fish right !!!! The style i grew up with is big chunks of tuna - not tiny pieces...

The same thing happened this time and I just went in to order. They had a 15 min wait on rice and the bowl was mostly mixed greens after I ordered. The fried tofu was basically the small cold crumbs left...
