Portofino is a gem! Initiallybtried tobteservecaxtable for either Friday or Saturday to celebrate Valentine's Day. Booked solid. Decided to go on Thursday. The food was wonderful, favorable and well prepared by Chef Dave. Great ambience in a quiet atmosphere so you could actually carry on a conversation. Spectacular service. Summer was attentive but not over-bearing. Portofino is my favorite restaurant in the Indianapolis area. Never a disappointment.
We had an outstanding bottle of wine, fabulous service and delicious food tonight. Cannot recommend Portofino enough. The noise level is low with quiet jazz music playing. It is a very intimate and romantic setting. The food is top notch. One of our favorite locations. 
What a gem of a local restaurant! We were truly blown away - felt at home even though it was our first time. The service, food, and ambiance were all fantastic! We will be back very soon.
