Prodigy Burger Bar

Overall great experience, especially the service at the bar. I had the salmon salad and a Corona. The kitchen struck me as a bit lazy - wilted salad greens and the raw beet on my salad was diced rather than shredded. I will return to try a burger! Thanks for the friendly conversation, Casper.

Wanted a quick and easy dinner while staying in the area. All 3 of us had burgers. The menu was a little confusing, with burger choices and build a burger...couldn't tell which was a better deal. Our server, Danny was very nice and friendly. Service was good; the place was practically empty however. I had a small salad, which was fresh and pretty good. The burger was well cooked, with melty cheese and a good portion of bacon. The fries the men had were average at best and not very hot. All in all, a good burger lunch.

Ordered carry out for the 1st time from this location. Tenderloin literally burnt. Cheeseburger was raw. We threw away a lot of the food. We would not recommend or order from this location again.

Wonderful service, atmosphere and delicious burgers! My husband and I both had the Signature Sliders—they were delicious! Our kids had great meals too!! Portions were on par. We were driving through visiting family—wish Louisville had a similar family friendly option!Daniel was our server—he was attentive and great!Highly recommend for families and adults—the perfect burger joint!

Kid-friendliness: We had 4 kids 10 and under. Daniel was our server and he was great! He informed us of December special—until January kids eat free!

Honestly this was overall a terrible experience. I ordered the brussel sprouts, and they were just plain and half cooked, none of the seasonings or bacon the menu described. I ordered the spinach Mac and cheese and got something completely different. My son ordered a kids meal with a fruit cup, which came out with fries, they did bring the fruit when I mentioned that, and that was the most appetizing thing ordered. My boyfriend's burger looked smaller than a cheeseburger from McDonald's. I genuinely regret spending $60 here for our lunch after our son's appointment at Riley's.

I was really excited to eat here because the Prodigy chains are my favorite. The food was really good, but undoubtedly the worst service ever. We got there at about 6:50pm, got sat with Carey, and we were her only table. She was rushing us the first half of the meal. eager to get our order in so she could sit back down. Once we got our food, we ate for about ten minutes before she dropped our check. I mentioned that I wanted to order dessert and she walked away. She went to the bar and sat down on her phone for the next ten minutes before picking up my card to pay. Absolutely awful. We’ll go to Geist next time.

This place over charges. I had the j*** chicken burger for 13.95, not bad, but the server asked what side and I chose onion rings. He then asked what I want on the chicken burger, suggested cheese, I went with pepper jack. They charged me an extra dollar for onion rings and TWO DOLLARS for a slice of pepper jack. Had a Miller light on tap, for five dollars!?? One meal for 22$ and the portion was enough to eat in one sitting with no leftovers. I feel like I've been robbed. Otherwise, the food was pretty tasty. 3/5 because I enjoyed the taste, but those extra two stars were stolen on the check.

Just a bad experience. Went in at 6pm. There was only one other table seated when we walked in. My husband went to take a picture of the drink menu as after 10min we had not been talked to/offered menus, the drinks menu was not online, and I couldn't see the screen from our table. When my husband went up to take the picture, the server suddenly appeared and said "that's not the menu! I'll bring you a menu!" .....and then he went back into the back. We still did not get our menus for another 10min.A third table walked in and sat. Within 5min they had been given menus. The server took our drink orders, after claiming he couldn't get us the monthly special cocktail because he was "out of the wine" (which, on closer inspection, there's no wine listed in that cocktail this month) and when he came back with our drinks he also came out with table 3s drinks. He then took table 3s food order, and walked past our table to go enter their order in. Then he went into the back for another 10min! We walked in at 6pm and he didn't take our order until 6:32!When the food did FINALLY come out, it was quite bad. Husband ordered the monthly special, a Cajun Mac n cheese burger, that had absolutely zero Cajun seasoning and the Mac n cheese part was extremely dry. My Philly smash burger had a very stale pretzel bun and was more "garlic aioli" (which just tasted like mayonnaise) than there were onions and mushrooms. The fries were the only thing that was okay. All in all a bad experience.

Took my family here a few weeks back before an Indy Eleven game. Food was fine but not great. Only one server working, who was very friendly, but it was extremely slow. The server forgot parts of our order at 3 different times. Others around us never got their food and walked out. And we were late for the game as a result.

Not gluten-free friendly & no hot water in the bathroom. No surprise I got sick on the ride home.

Great place for after work! Fries are phenomenal and the Mac and cheese was great. My only complaint would be parking is a bit of a nightmare but if you go around back it brightens up. Our server was super attentive to our needs even when we were the only people there (dead Monday night).

Probably the best burger I have had in a long time, but the service and environment was a little awkward. We were one of two tables, yet most of the time there were no servers to be found. Despite how slow they were it took a while before we placed our order or received our food. Good food though, and reasonable prices.

Food is very good and the service is top notch. Although some items are a little overpriced in my opinion. They also close pretty early so it's mostly a lunch location.

We walked in and the guy working there just stared at us like we were aliens. He was definitely high or something. There was only him serving the entire restaurant. It took 20 minutes to just get drinks and he didn’t even take our order. We gave the bartender cash for the drinks and just left….
