I never leave reviews, but this experience was awful. We love the coffee at Prufrock, but the service was awful. We ordered two sandwiches and after waiting for 30 minutes we checked in with them and they had forgotten about them. So we waited another 30 minutes and asked again and they had forgotten about our sandwiches again. When we finally got them they were so burnt, they almost weren’t edible. While waiting for our food, we also spoke with three other people who were experiencing the same level of food service, some waiting for a single muffin.

As we were about to leave we stopped in the restroom, it was disgusting and the sink doesn’t work. Wild.

Searched for a place to get coffee while heading to a graduation. Little shop. Not much of a place to park. Especially for out-of-towners. Coffee was good. I got a hot latte and my wife got an iced latte. She loved the sealed pop-top. But something was very off with the vibe in that place that afternoon. If you believe in that sort of thing, the air was very heavy in there. We both knew instantly we didn't want to stay.

Great coffee! Great staff! Bathroom was disgusting! The seating areas had crumbs on the seats and the floors were dirty. It was clear the shop needed more attention by the staff. It was also freeeezing so take a sweater if you plan to stay.
Disappointing because the drinks were really delicious.

Just discovered this place (Broad Ripple). Outstanding coffee and a great atmosphere. Will absolutely go back

First off even though it's a little frivolous, I do adore the plastic cups they use. It really adds to the experience. The drink I got was pretty yummy and the baked goods looked great. I liked the fact that they have ample sitting with some space up top, cozy vibes in the basement, and even outdoor space. What really makes it for me is the literary interior decorations.

LOVED this little find. Became my a.m. coffee two days in a row, while in twon visiting. Especially thought the sealed cans of cold brew were SUPER fun🌞 Thank you for providing friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere and a unique experience 🌞

Chill vibe, quiet (when I visited), a great place to have a tea and write for an hour. Really great service!

My wife and I learned that not only does Prufrock have good coffee, but they’re also run by EXCELLENT people. We punctured our tire on the way to get some coffee, and managed to pull into their back lot. Their owner saw us out there struggling to get the flat off, and left the shop (which was super busy at the time) to come out and help us.
I saw this photo on their wall while waiting for my coffee. Big thanks to them for being a light that day!!

The barista was very patient with me and was able to offer suggestions.

I enjoy going downstairs and working, reading, or doom scrolling while I have my coffee.

The seasonal spice bomb was surprisingly pleasant and not overwhelming.

I recommend going downstairs and utilizing the space there if you work remote.

Cool space. The top floor is usually busy.

I do wish it was easier to form a line at the checkout area.

This is the most expensive coffee shop I have ever visited. I always order a quad shot latte with a syrup and oatmilk and have never paid more than $8 at a time. My fiancé got the same drink as I did and for it to come out as $23? No food or pastry, just 2 lattes. That is insane. At Ascend coffee, my exact latte costs $7-8, not over $11. The cup size here was maybe 10oz, tiny and it was not anything special. I had been here once before and ordered the same way to try and see if it got any better and it didn’t. For this shop, I had asked for a hot, quad shot latte with oatmilk and ube syrup both times and it seems like the baristas they have are not experienced because they assume a different syrup without confirming before making. I ended up getting their specialty Ube mango tropical latte when I specifically said just ube. There’s a lot to improve on here. Highly recommend this place work on their pricing and probably train their baristas more with communicating and understanding the register especially when their tiny sized lattes aren’t worth over $11 a pop. On top of this, their atmosphere is not ideal or even welcoming. It is quiet and I mean quiet. No music at all- the silence is deafening. It feels almost too uncomfortable to even talk to someone in there because everyone would hear. People have been saying since the shop switched ownerships, it has gone downhill. I can 100% agree. We will not be coming back.
