Waited 14 months to try this and paid $50 for the Surf n Turf Ramen Bowl. Well worth it! No complaints. After my first bite I knew $50 was reasonable ????

The burger I got was burnt, and the middle was still cold. When I called, complain to see if I could. Another one made I got no, and basically, oh well. Will never return.

The food was so good, you will not want to share your plate with anyone. The owners run the whole thing and are super nice and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes well seasoned food cooked to perfection. Also, they have great music taste!

Food was good and hot. However, it was not worth the money when you have to wait 45 minutes for your food and the bad customer service. My fiancé and I ended up “babysitting” their 5 year old daughter while waiting for our food at one of their booths inside the restaurant. The little girl also ended up biting my fiancé in the back of the head with no apology. Incredibly disappointing…

Definitely the most delicious, flavorful quesadilla I've had in a long time!!!!Woulda never found this place if someone hadn't told me about it. Prices well worth the portion and love she put in it. Will definitely be returning.

Waited 2 hours for my food. Very unprofessional no type of warm welcome or anything. I could also hear them saying they could see us being upset and even pointed at our direction. The girl that was making the food seemed like she had a whole attitude. Had their kids running around the place. Also they need to remodel the place as well needs a lot of work done. When we finally got the food it was cold….

It would be my recommendation to do a carryout. As for the wings, they were good and hot. The fries were seadoned good. The salmon nachos, a bit salty (due to lime tortilla chips used) and great sauce. My suggestion would be to change to regular tortilla chips and put the COLD sourcream on the side. Customer service was cool. The atmosphere is less than desirable for dine in though.

Horrible establishment. No safety plan in place for employees, and zero morals. 0/10 do not recommend.

Food was really good. I wanted the crab on cob but they were out of crab. I ended up getting the surf and turf. My friend got the lamb on cob and parm whole dame wings. The place has great potential. Needs to be cleaned up a bit. Also should have more drink choices. 1 of the drinks they serve is chloride water with cbd. I found that interesting. If you're open minded and not a opposed, try it.

Parking: Street Parking may be difficult.

I got the wings mashed potatoes a chicken sandwich and also salmon tacos I have been there on several occasions the taste an portions get an a+ plus .But there are two issues that could be corrected and with these corrections I would definitely have given them a five the lady that takes orders she's very rude acts like she doesn't want to take your order and when you ask her questions she acts like it's a problem with you asking a question she needs a very serious attitude adjustment. Also I feel that the place could be cleaned up presentation to a restaurant is everything. The only reason I didn't eat inside is because I felt like it wasn't clean enough in the sitting area.

Do not recommend Public House. Failed to protect their employees.

I was a bit torn when I saw the noodle bowl but all the contents blended well and became the perfect concoction forming the perfect taste. In short, I loved it!

100% would recommend. The food is true soul food and such a delight to eat! We got the Charlii’s Favorite and Southwest Chicken pasta dishes, and we are so coming back for more! This place is cozy and eclectic, and I absolutely adore it!

Well I certainly tried. I usually slide over to Hoagies and Hops when I'm this way to get the best Philly in town, but I thought to myself "let's support a black owned spot this time". A Google search led me to Public House. The food pics look amazing. You can smell the food from the street. I'm excited. Problem is,I never got to try the food. It didn't bother me that the food is priced at level that would command a much better dining experience and overall aesthetic of the place. Didn't matter, I'm still all in. The problem was, my wait for my food became unbearable for 2 reasons. 1) it took an unreasonable amount of time considering there's only one other patron in the whole place, which brings me #2. The only other occupants in the dining area were children.. )VERY LOUD children. The children appeared to be attached to the people working there (not patrons). I'll add there's no AC so it's also really hot. Eventually I snap out of it and realize I'm in a boarder line torturous situation here. I walk up to the counter simply state "I'm good" and I'm immediately offered a refund. So here I'm am back to my original plan and getting ready to sink my teeth into the best Philly in Indy. ??‍♂️
