From the moment I walked into Purely Joy, I felt completely welcomed. The service is outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. You can tell Karen truly loves what she does and it shows in every interaction.

The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, with thoughtful design touches that make it the perfect place to relax, work, or catch up with friends. Whether you’re sitting by the window with a book or tucked into a corner with your laptop, it just feels good to be there.

I’m from out of town, and had never been here before. This place is a gem in Indianapolis. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Purely Joy is an absolute must-stop. Highly recommended!

I've been here several times and the food is always good and the service cheerful. Food is made to order, so the service can be a bit slow depending on what you order, but always worth the wait. Check the website first, since the kitchen is sometimes closed for private events, and Chef Joy can have meal prep for catering events that limits the menu.

Amazing!! French toast was the BOMB! Best ever! We had the egg scramble with veggies, potatoes and sausage. Chicken sausage is homemade and amazing! Vanilla latte! Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend!

The food from Chef Karyn is always a taste of home. It’s best best start to a good day. Whether it’s take out or dine in I know I’ll have a quality meal.

Having some health issues and really needed a good place to get healthy reasonably priced super foods and.....I found it! Got a fantastic green juice and had a really great customer service experience! It's right next to City Yoga on Central Ave. They do catering too!

Got a decaf cinnamon brown sugar latte, and a waist bead dropper. Food was so delicious, it was gone before I could take a photo of it. My server was very warm and hospitable, I felt at home.

This is actually a coffee shop with amazing breakfast food! Open on weekday mornings through midday, I wish it were open on weekends and afternoons too. Great coffee, great vibe with chill music, lots of space for walk ins and families.

They have a great breakfast/brunch menu and the food is fantastic. Waist Bead Dropper sandwich (avo, egg white, onion, spinach, everything seasoning on sourdough) is delicious. Also probably the first time i ever thought avocado toast was worth it (get chef's choice) -- i wish i had taken a photo before i ate all of it.

This is a total secret neighborhood gem. They still do not have a coffee shop sign somehow, they need one so badly so people know it is here, it's the only coffee shop in the neighborhood. The storefront makes it look like it is only a catering business (which it also is).

Karen makes the best decaf latte I have ever had. Her smile is infectious and her baked goods are as good as any. I’m not exaggerating.

So many good things to say about this place ☺️. The lady who I'm assuming is the owner has such a warm spirit. Her customer service is unmatched. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and it is the best one I've ever had the privilege of tasting. It is not an ordinary smoothie by far. I also got an order of cookies and they are so good ?. I will be back on a regular from now on. I'm eager to try everything else.
