I prefer the outside, dockside seating but since it was January, we had to sit indoors. I definitely recommend coming in warmer mo ths. The menu is always interesting and flavorful.

Adriana was an energetic, attentive server. My steak was juicy and tender and I never needed to ask for a refill. The price for add ons such as my lobster tail, can't be beat. My mom really enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms and the shrimp cocktail is comparable to St. Elmos. All combined with a lovely view of Eagie Creek.
Nice atmosphere, nice servers, romantic settings. Best venue for any age, we managed a late reservation but were not disappointted at all.

Went to ricks tonight for valentines day go often unfortunately sitting under the heater we're miserable after telling them that it was hot they had said they turned it down it was so hot my head was pounding couldn't attempt to eat my food left with a horrible head ache and felt like I was genuinely gonna get sick very unpleasant experience now for the rest of my valentines evening I'm going to lay down just truly bummed
My two friends and I ate at Rick‘s this evening, Kristen was our server and she was fabulous. It was very busy so our drinks didn’t come out immediately but no big deal. We had the fresh catch, the shrimp and scampi linguine, and wood grilled salmon with mashed potatoes. Everything was excellent, came out hot. Wonderful experience!

Our server was not friendly and kind. He shouldn’t be server there. He was too serious. I was afraid of to asked question to him. Never go there again.

For many years Rick's was my favorite. The deck had a fun/Key West party vibe and the inside offered contrasting upscale dinning. The deck has become too civilized and feels like every other deck at every other restaurant. The inside is noisy to the point of disrupting conversation even when it's just half full. Some tastefully applied acoustic tiles would help.

Going to try writing this review again...my first didn't post (that I know of)...it may have gone to that great email box in the "cloud"! My wife and I dined at Rick's Cafe Boathouse for the third time yesterday. It was a great experience, enhanced by our server Lonnie (more on him later). My wife had the Filet Mignon (cooked to perfection), with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and Sauteed Green Beans (the only suggestion is to cook the green beans a little better). I ordered the Best Damn Bone-In Pork Chops (2 Hugh chops were delicious), mashed potatoes and I substituted Creamy Jalapeno Coleslaw for the garlic green beans (my mistake...it was too hot for me)! Lonnie was our server (for the third time) and took excellent care of us... attentive but not hovering! He helps make the dining experience what it is. When you dine at Rick's, be sure to ask for him! We're looking forward to our next visit!
