One of my favorite spots for so many reasons. Rick's employees and atmosphere has such an old school feel of treating everyone with kindness and respect.

I had the fisherman's catch and it was excellent. Also, the calamari was amazing (I dont even like calamari. ).

The waiter was polite but only provided the bare minimum of service. He seemed much more attentive to other tables, which made us feel overlooked and unimportant. My family came specifically for the grouper fingers, the dish I had been raving about, only to find out they were no longer on the menu. That was disappointing since it was the main reason we chose this restaurant.
To make matters worse, there was a loud, intoxicated group seated next to us. They were shouting and carrying on the entire time, and management did nothing to address it. It completely ruined the atmosphere.
The food itself was fine, compliments to the chef, but the overall experience was not worth the price. The restaurant’s management and environment need serious improvement.

Boatyard Restaurant — A Hidden Gem That’s Worth Every Bite
This place truly impressed me. The food isn’t just good — it’s diverse, fresh, and beautifully plated. You can tell the chefs actually care about flavor and presentation. From the perfectly seasoned chicken with rice and beans to the vibrant salads, everything tasted balanced and full of life.
The atmosphere? Cozy yet elegant. Great lighting, good music, and a friendly crowd. The staff were super welcoming and attentive — the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit.
If you’re looking for a spot where you can unwind with a glass of wine, good company, and real conversation, Boatyard is the move. 🍷✨

Rick’s Café Boatyard offers a beautiful dining experience with a great view and friendly, attentive staff. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for enjoying a nice meal by the water. I ordered the Beef Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which was good but could’ve used more seasoning to really bring out the flavor. On the other hand, the French fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. The service was excellent throughout my visit, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made it enjoyable. Even though my main dish didn’t completely impress, I still had a pleasant experience. I’d definitely consider coming back next time I’m in town to try something different from their menu. Four solid stars for great service, nice scenery, and a comfortable dining atmosphere.

Since boating season is over, but the weather was nice, we wanted to go sit by the water and have dinner so we decided to go to Ricks. The outdoor seating is only in the bar area, which was a little disappointing. We did have a decent view of the water though. The food was mediocre for the price. Two quarter size scallops, four shrimp and a half of a small lobster tail was $40. Our waiter was attentive and very nice.

Great experience. Birthday lunch. Perfect service. Food was original and fantastic! Would definitely go again
The food was great and the waiter was as well. It started raining and he moved us inside. He was very friendly and patient.

I love Rick’s, but they have this weird happy hour policy! Happy hour only indoors! What! Are they crazy!

Always a great experience. From Management, Staff, and especially food and the drinks. Amazing!
Don't sit in the bar. Service was horrible. Food was a 3 on a scale of 5. Lobster and shrimp were overdone and tough. Very nice location but overpriced for the quality of the food.
