A coffee truck!?!? Heck yes!! My friend and I were deciding on a new coffee shop to try, like we do every Friday, and stumbled upon this gem. The menu isn't overwhelming, they have some classics, and then they have to wild ones that you wouldn't think would work, but they do. And they are delicious!! We both tried the River West Mocha, frozen of course. It's chocolate and cherry and amazing.

We need more of these full service espresso bars around Indianapolis. They're a drive-thru expresso bar. What a dream!! They serve Rex Roasting Company which is based out of Terre Haute. A Hulman family company since 1879! They serve hot, iced, and frozen coffees, teas, smoothies, Circle City Kombucha, and pastries. I tried the frozen vanilla latte and it was delicious. It had a enough coffee to vanilla ratio and was refreshing on a hot day. They most recently made their first appearance at Food Truck Friday on Georgia St. They also were at GenCon. They've been at the Tri-Indy, Freedom Fest in Carmel, and Cars and Coffee at the IMS. Today they will actually be across from the IMS for Cars and Coffee and then head up to Carmel for the Orient at the Chinese Mooncake Festival. How cool does that sound? Cool. They have a Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter page so you know where they will be. They're open M-F in Speedway 1401 W. 16th St. across from turn 2 by the IMS from 7 am-3 pm. I've read they might open at 6:15 am to serve their Alison's Transmissions friends and medical professionals that are heading downtown. That's very nice of them to think of their customers. When the IMS has events they mentioned they will be there or if the Town of Speedway has events as well. The owner is a very nice passionate guy and is proud of his coffee truck. Support this great coffee operation if you see them around!

What a fun surprise to discover on my way to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend! As a person who works for a team, this was a great find! Who doesn't love a drive through coffee shop directly across the street from the track (located on 16th street). The owner's are super nice and their hours are dictated by what time the track opens which is super convenient for those who work there for the month. They brew Rex Coffee which is owned by the Hulman Family so a great tie to the speedway itself. For those who need alternative milk, they have almond milk available and can do pretty much any drink you would want. They also offer a small selection of food items in case you wanted to grab something to go with your coffee. Looking forward to swinging by this place more throughout the month!
