Everything was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was outstanding! Will definitely return.
Excellent experience as always. We were seated immediately upon arrival at the restaurant. Our server was warm and pleasant. We had the Angel Biscuits for our appetizer. They are our go to every time. I had the half fried chicken with the mashed potatoes. My wife had the schnitzel. Both of our meals were delicious and plentiful. We'll definitely return!!
Brunch was very good. Menu overall is a tad lunch heavy, however you an order things ala carte for a very nice breakfast. Side note- The music selection playing was fantastic.
We go every Sunday for brunch, which is delicious. The atmosphere is bright and cozy, the staff so friendly and accommodating. One visit and we were hooked!
Server was a sweetheart. Gave honest good suggestions. Food was very very good. Parking is a bear.
The food and service were great. I got the shrimp and grits and it was fantastic. The only downside is that restaurant is very loud when it is full. It was difficult to hear people at our table.
Started out with amazing house made cornbread and ordered their version of a wedge salad. It was very good. The tea brined fried chicken was off the charts. Great vibe in their bar area.
The food is incredible, the sweet-tea brined chicken is our favorite main. Growing up in the South I can be particular about grits, theirs are top notch. Just a great place to have an awesome meal.
Absolutely fantastic. Menu has the perfect variety of options without being overwhelming. Traditional fare that's elevated. Looking forward to many future visits to try more items, although that burger will be really hard to pass on. It was killer. Well done from the front of the house, to the service to the chefs. Bravo.
Food is great. Service was friendly but beyond slow. Cocktails were pretty bad. We will go back for food but stick with beer and expect slow service.

Excellent food and service. Will return to try something new or different. Just a little bit hard to hear at times. But the food is so good who has time to talk...lol Everyone should go try it out. Make a reservation!
Overall it was fine. Chef and server were very friendly. Food was interesting but we were not blown away as in previous visits. We got one drink because we were not asked if we wanted any more, our water glasses were never refilled. We noticed a few servers working but many standing around. Chef was delivering the food which was nice but he seemed to be the only one really working hard.
Discovered Root and Bone during Bulter's Orientation Weekend, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food and drinks are delicious. The service is terrific. Michael took care of us both times, and he is excellent. Looking forward to my next visit.
It's a nice little cozy place. Food was good, service was too. The only negative thing was the parking. I suggest the Fried chicken with grits, wife enjoyed her Shrimp and Grits also
If you asked me to describe Root & Bone in one sentence, I'd say: “It's the place where your soul and your taste buds hold hands and go tango.” And after four dinners, I'm still swooning. Cedar Plank Salmon — This is the dish my son adores, and honestly, I get it. The salmon is tender, smoky on the edges, and glazed just enough with that spiced honey to give it character without overwhelming it. It comes with thyme-lemon rice casserole and heirloom carrots. He always lets me A Carrot. That's carrot, one carrot. He's a kind chap for being that generous, because if they were mine, I might not be. They are so good and I'm not a huge fan of cooked carrots. We really should just order a side of these to split. Grandma Daisy's Angel Biscuits — Every time Root & Bone brings these to the table, it feels like the angels themselves showed up. Flaky, buttery, just the right amount of chew, with honey chicken jus drizzled and sea salt finishing. Basically, they exist to make you look at every other biscuit and say, “What have you been doing with your life?” 14oz Chargrilled Ribeye — Big, juicy, cooked just how I ordered it. The accompaniments (creamed spinach, potato & leek au gratin, rich blue cheese sauce) we're really not my favorites, I should've completely substituted them for the brussels sprouts but I wanted to try it as it was on the menu. If you are a huge fan of blue cheese, you will love the side dish. Brussels Sprouts (side) — Here's where whatever wizard they have on staff does something magical. Crispy, caramelized, and yes, laced with pieces of what I'm pretty sure is bacon or pork belly. It's a side dish that demands applause. Root & Bone is always a winner.
