From the customer service, to the taste of the food, to the portion sizes, to the efficiency and cleanliness of the restaurant itself, Royal Indian is the best Indian food my husband and I have ever had, and is by far our favorite place to eat in the entire state of Indiana. Thank you for taking such good care of us! Highly recommend!!!

I can't really speak for the atmosphere or "service" because I got take out, but let me tell you (pauses for dramatic effect) the food is amazing! Tikka Masala was fire. The lamb Vindaloo was somehow even better! All I can say is please visit and support this restaurant!

We arrived at 11 o'clock and were relieved to find it open. The staff were courteous and friendly. We enjoyed the food immensely, particularly the numerous vegetarian options. Indian restaurants are an excellent choice for us, as they provide a range of vegetarian dishes for me, while also catering to my husband's and son's preferences for chicken and meat. Very, happy, the food was great! And the price was reasonable. I would recommend it to all my friends.● Para los hispanohablantes, les recomiendo este restaurante, ya que ofrece una amplia variedad de opciones, un servicio excelente y comida deliciosa.

Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian so I am happy ♡

Parking: Big and easy to park.

Kid-friendliness: Super friendly!

Wheelchair accessibility: Enough space for wheel chair.

Food was great! Lifesaver restaurant. On the way to Minnesota from Kentucky on Christmas morning, we were unable to find any restaurants (even McDonalds, Wendy's were closed around), we were crazy hungry, haha and this place was open, easy exit from I-65 highway. Had buffet for $15 bucks, cheapest and the best Indian buffet i have even been to which included Goat Curry in their menu for the price. Staff was very professional and nice. They even brought us freshly cooked crisp naan roti on the table. very warm gesture. Their unique menu includes Punjabi dishes and the food was freshly cooked. Thank you Chef and wait staff for that day. Will definitely come back again.

Is it my fault for even considering an Indian buffet could be good? So it would seem. I have never been less attracted to a Buffett line. Ultimately, I had to make a decision between my hunger and my desire to not get ill. I left with a relatively empty tank. Praying I will not acquire a GI illness, but alas, only time will tell. Hate to do this to a local business, but this one star was earned

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Our server, a young girl ,She’s the only one working in front Handling everything very gently was absolutely fantastic—she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her kindness really stood out and made the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, it was delicious! Every dish we tried was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be returning soon! Highly recommend this place.
Rest of the restaurant Looks emptier But we enjoyed it because we get more attention. And
it has a Banquet hall on side and it’s clearly visible And The dine in section Was very neat and clean And also they have bar on the side as well but we don’t had a chance to sit there also we order some drinks as well, I would love to come back here and see the server in front Happy Girl 😇 And also i will attach some photos of the restaurant as well the Hall

Dinner was lovely! Hot hot food, that by the time we were finishing up, it was still quite warm! The chicken vindaloo and chicken curry were super yummy. Cannot stop thinking about the fish pakora, though. It was hot, crispy, and flaky. Absolutely cooked to perfection! Highly recommend!!!

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant in the area. I discovered it as "Halal Zaika" on Uber Eats, although the location signage says "Royal Indian". Whatever the correct name, the food is excellent! The Biryanis, Vindaloos, and mixed grill are favorites. I was pleased to see kheer on the dessert menu - I haven't had that since I lived in San Diego. Everything I've tried here has been delicious. The service time is pretty quick, and the orders I have had were always correct, hot and fresh. The quantity of food for the price is pretty generous as well. I highly recommend the restaurant and look forward to trying many new things from the large menu!

Our 5pm dinner may have caught them early off guard not yet expecting customers. Would have thought we'd gotten more "attention".
The menu was extensive with many great and options and variety. The food we ordered was delicious.
The service could use work and attention. For 2 separate diners, one entree came out quickly but it was a few minutes before the other came out, leading to awkward wait to eat. We wanted more bread but by the time someone came to check on us, the second bread finally came after the entree was mostly gone. We got 1 glass each of tepid tap water (not chilled, no ice) and were promised a refill a few times when requested, but it finally came as we were leaving.
It's at the very end of a dead end against the freeway, among several other restaurants and hotels, but looks almost abandoned. More than half the building space was empty, available for banquet but no tables set up, making it look even emptier.
