Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern

Stellar service (Levi), food, and atmosphere. We had a reservation for a specific table, and that was honored. The restaurant was absolutely packed at 4:15 on a Friday. Highly recommend the Happy Hour Juicy Lucy burger, and we also enjoyed the tenderloin, fish sandwich, and sweet potato fries. All food was served hot and in a timely fashion. We are becoming "frequent fliers" at Rusty Bucket!

One of the best kept secrets in all of northern Indianapolis is the Rusty Bucket on 86th Street / Ditch Road. Every week day afternoon from 4 until 6 they have an incredible happy hour pricing on appetizers, drinks, and their version of the Juicy Lucy. Well done. We have never had bad service here. Our go to is Alo, but last evening we had Emily and were impressed. Management is on the floor and very available. They run the restaurant the way it should be and the customer feels valued!!

We really enjoyed ourselves at the Rusty Bucket. We had a party of four and all of us enjoyed our food. We had great service from Nancy. The food at Rusty Bucket is consistently good. We especially like their pizzas--with the mushroom pizza my favorite. One of our party also had the blackened salmon which was really good.

the dinner was good as always. with the exception of forgetting jalapeños on the dinner salads and the draft of the air conditioner blower it was as nice a visit as usual.

My daughter looked up good restaurants for fish and chips for her 20th bday. It was worth the drive from Plainfield. Delicious-one of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches ever. The ONLY issue is the menu reads kettle chips which makes one think they are housemade. NOPE- just good old Lays. They definitely need to change that on the menu- very disappointing. Everything else- perfect!

It was very nice, decorated with little signs, and dim lights. Plenty of tvs for sports! Great food and drink options.

We really like this place. The food and service are very good. However. We were there at 1 pm Thursday, not too busy, and the time it took to get our food was longer than I would expect for a non busy time. It was like this the last time also. Maybe a cook called in, I don't know. It's good but don't be in a hurry.

This is a friendly neighborhood place. If you are coming around 6 you should have reservations. We had reservations through open table. There was a 25 minute wait when we arrived and only a bench outside so if bad weather not good.

Rusty Bucket is a hidden gem! I was surprised to realize it was a Midwest chain with several locations throughout Ohio and Michigan. This Indy location feels like a hole-in-the-wall, dive bar with all the right vibes! I've been here a few times during different sporting events and the environment is lively. I imagine it is more subdued when major sporting events are not going on. The service is always excellent with the right amount of attention without feeling overly attended. The food is always quick and delicious, even on busy nights. While the tap list may be short, the mixed drinks are extensive, unique, and well balanced. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't been before!

We met friends for a chance to catch up. Service was great and we loved the quesadillas, beef stroganoff , hamburgers and great drinks. Love this special place!

The service is always outstanding. Will is a great server. Peel and eat shrimp are fresh, coated with just the right amount of seasoning, and served on a bed of ice. Happy Hour deals and daily specials are hard to beat.

Appreciate getting a booth and good food too! So many great things to choose from on the menu. Service was good too.

Our waiter was wonderful, very fun, energetic, and professional. The for was delicious, with generous portions.

As usual, Armando was an excellent server. Very friendly and attentive. Food is always good and reasonably priced. A great neighborhood stop.
