Ruth's Chris Steak House

We usually have a 5 star experience, however our last visit was mediocre at best. Our city hosts many major events , I hate to think that out of town guests would receive this kind of service from this prestigious establishment.

Seated 30 minutes late. Mac n cheese was cold and one of our steaks was cold. Appetizers came after salad. We got told to leave by a particular time by the staff after being seated late. Had to wait 15 minutes for the main course.

Nice experience. The ambiance was very nice. Service was quite good. Most of the food was good but the ribeye which I would expect to be amazing was just ok. Too much gristle and chewy areas in the steak. I have high expectations for this brand and the steak should be incredible.

Food was excellent. It was only me dining so the side dishes were a lot for one person but overall excellent food and service

I took my wife out for her 1st time to Ruth Chris and everything was great. Our waiter was kind and knowledgeable. Then, our drinks, dinner, and dessert were all delicious. It is one of my favorite steakhouses.

Best choice for Thanksgiving dinner! Sat at the bar, Caleb took great care of us. Will definitely do again.

I don't mind spending $235 before tip on a nice meal for two. Train a new server on your time not my dime. There's too many good choices in Indy to settle.

The Indianapolis Downtown Ruth's Chris serves up a memorable Thanksgiving. From food and beverage to atmosphere and service, this restaurant is unparalleled. Our server, Mike, was friendly and attentive. Two in our party had the Thanksgiving offering, and one had a pescatarian entree. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious, and the pace of the meal was perfect. I highly recommend letting the skilled team welcome you for a meal!

This experience was warm from start to finish. The server is excellent. Very attentive, great recommendations, great sense of humor. The food is the star. We started with calamari and crab stuffed mushrooms. Excellent. I had the sea bass and it was better than I've had in any seafood restaurant. It melted in my mouth. My fiance had the filet. He gave me a few bites and we immediately agreed it was the very best beef we've ever had in our lives. Pure buttery heaven. The lobster mac, Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, bread and butter were all fantastic starters/sides. The creme brulee and the carrot cake were perfect endings to the most amazing meal. Thank you to the server for humoring us and taking our picture. We will definitely be back for our anniversary and Devour!

Everything was wonderful. Our waiter was outstanding! Only negative was we were seated in the middle and there were a lot of larger parties which made it kinda loud. Couldn't really talk to each other without having to talk loudly.

We've come to Ruth's Chris for years for special family moments. This was our 4th college graduation celebration, and it was amazing as always. From the food to those who served us with incredible service--it's another memory we will cherish.

We had a great experience. We brought a group of students that haven't been in a restaurant this nice. It was great to give them that experience.

Filet was even better than I remember. Nothing beats a Ruth Chris filet! Service was outstanding.
