This was my first time at Ruth’s Chris. My girlfriend has been here before for work events and she wanted to treat me to a Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday, the 15th. We had a wonderful time and the food, the service, and the atmosphere were top notch! The executive chef at this location cooked the food perfectly, and our waiter, Kaleb, did an equally fantastic job serving us. My girlfriend ordered the ribeye, and I had the New York strip, and that was the best NY strip I’ve ever had.

We went to celebrate a special occasion and let me tell you it did not disappoint. From the time we walked in to the end we were treated like special guest. The gentleman who waited on us had been there over 20 years and he was simply amazing. From the apps to the salad, steak and sides was some of the best food, I will even say the steak was tied with Hells Kitchen in Vegas. The to top the meal off the chocolate sin cake was phenomenal. We will definitely be back, oh the best ever app if the lobster voodoo. Best side the lobster mac n cheese. I give it a 10 out 10 for sure.

We actually made reservations the night before. The person who took the reservations was great. Sure enough, we walked in and were immediately escorted to our table. Great start here. The helper presented a glass of water, and then the server introduced himself. Great guy, but busy. We gave him our order and then set for an hour waiting on the appetizer, Crab legs. You will not believe this part. The crab legs were Lazer sliced but completely frozen solid with ice on them. We laughed after setting an hour and knew this would only get worse. We called for the server, and he was very put out with what had happened. Immediately apologize and transfer back to the kitchen. The manager came over and gave her apologies and offered free desserts. Thank you, but we have a concert to attend in an hour. The server brought out our entree. I ordered my filet medium rare, with their traditional hot plate, and it was well done. You would have thought that by this time, they would have figured out how to serve a delicious tasting filet medium rare. It was overly salted and well done, which was very scary. What are they hiding?
We felt sorry for the server. The manager never ever came by again. No desserts were offered. We left and had a great evening with our granddaughter. Now, the dilemma is that we have 250.00 left over on the gift card. We do not wish to go back. Do we go back and possibly suffer again?
Do we give the remaining amount to a friend?
Do we donate to a homeless shelter?
Or do we donate to the manager and let them have an evening of short falls and stay positive in attitude?
Just room for improvement in management and head chef.
The servers deserve better as the clients do.

I was looking forward to spending a lovely evening with my family on Christmas Eve. I made the reservation for 8:30pm only to be informed by our waiter that the kitchen would close at 9pm. I felt rushed, and I basically felt forced to place our entire order as soon as we arrived. This should have informed beforehand at the time I made the reservation. This was not the experience I was hoping for. I am a frequent Ruth Chris visitor but this experience was certainly not one I’d like repeat.

I thought that the steak was delicious. I used to love the bread and butter but the bread was cold and the butter didn't melt into the bread. Also what happened to the good rich salted butter you use to have? That butter tasted cheap maybe margarine? Mashed potatoes and broccoli didn't taste as good as they use to either. It was definitely different somethings going on. Service was ok she wasn't as attentive as they usually are but I assumed she was working all over the place. It seems darker than usual in the room we were in.

Dietary restrictions: Maybe have less appetizers with fish or seafood. Invite some different appetizers

I have been to Ruth Chris many times in the past. This year and idk if it’s because Darden is now the owner. The wedge salad was nothing special the ribeye was ok. The sides and crab was delicious. The cocktails were great. Honestly I could have had the same meal or better at bone fish grill. The atmosphere and staff were great just the steaks and food seemed a little downgraded from my past experiences

We had a party of five dine here on Christmas night. The wait staff was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Our food was 5-star, just delicious and prepared as requested. This was the perfect place to dine on Christmas. Thank you!

I’ve always loved ruth’s Chris mash potatoes on the bb shrimp they are always beyond delicious in every Ruth’s Ive visited, this time was the exception, they tasted like regular mashed potatoes you can find at a signature grading steak restaurant not at a Prime like yours. I know you can do better guys. The second pic is from a different Ruth’s Chris I visited 2 weeks ago that one did not disappointed us.
