Always love coming here when I'm in town. The service is great and the food is always a feast for the eyes and the tummy.

The sushi tasted very fresh. The tempura was excellent. The miso soup is amazing. Very friendly staff.

I’ve been going here since I was a kid. I remember seeing Reggie Miller and co eating here on more than one occasion. It’s simply the best Japanese restaurant in town, and it’s not even close. There’s a reason why it’s been open for so long. I like the fact, for the most part, they haven’t given into the fads of Americanizing their menu (e.g. deep fried rolls etc.). Their chicken teriyaki has not changed in 30 years. It’s still amazing. All of their food is amazing and reasonably priced. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese food, look no further.

This Japanese restaurant has a great atmosphere and consistently delivers quality food. It’s especially recommended for sushi lovers - the fish is fresh, well-prepared, and nicely presented. Among the local options, it’s hands down the best place around Broad Ripple for sushi and Japanese cuisine. The service is attentive, and the overall vibe is relaxed, making it a solid choice whether you’re dining with friends or enjoying a quiet meal. A reliable favorite for anyone craving authentic Japanese flavors!

Great quality and staff, but the food wait time is much longer than expected due to prioritizing external food delivery over in-store diners.

Crabmeat Nori was Horrible. Could not eat eat. Vetable roll needs alot more creativity. My daughter felt stereotype by server. Paid the check and the server returned to the table asking for more money. UNBELIEVABLE. STAY AWAY from this place.

I’ve had lots of sushi, and Sakura is by far the best of what I’ve tried. Prices were excellent, and staff were friendly. Every roll I had here, whether it was basic or complex, was so very delicious!

Our server wasn't playing when she said EVERYTHING is good. We had dumplings, steak, and some fresh nigiri. I would recommend to my whole family and friends!

In my experience, the best place for sushi in Indianapolis. I lived on the East Coast for a decade and have really struggled to find a place with fresh sushi. Sakura is fresh, tasty, and very reasonable on price. I love it here.

Amazing sushi, feels cozy and authentic. Can take a bit to get sushi when it's busy. Green tea is perfect compliment to meal!
