It was bad…. The food taste bland. I heard them microwave the meat. The pita was cold. The cucumber/ tazitiki sauce was very chunky. I paid $33 for a Gyro plate and a Gyro salad. The only difference between the plate and salad was the pita bread. The Greek salad taste better than all the food. My first and last time ever. When Chicago do gyro plates they come with fries, not a salad BTW. And PLEASEEEE change the grease trap. It smells bad in there.

EXCELLENT Fresh food! I love the Hummus and Greek Salad! Their tiziki style dressing is the BEST! Kero is very friendly, always smiling and happy to see me when I arrive. A+++ ?
Went in there to order a beef shwarma sandwitch and it was absolutely terrible it came with gobs and gobs of yogurt sauce, the whole thing was drenched in it.. absolutely disgusting I turned around and went back to the restaurant and handed it right back to him absolute garbage food will never go back there ever again

Honestly love this place. I used to come here as a kid and just recently started coming back as a regular customer. The food is always incredible and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. If you are new to Indy, please at least try out Sam's!

From the stale store bought pita pocket bread to the chunky chopped tomatoes this gyro place was not great.
The cook/cashier/server did one thing right -> the lentil soup.

This is hands down the best falafel you’ll ever have in Indy get it with the cucumber sauce you’ll thank me later the service is top notch and very friendly. I’ve tried most of the stuff on the menu and was never disappointed. Can’t recommend this place enough the bad reviews literally don’t make any sense to me

Randomly stopped at Sam’s after a day in Indianapolis. We were starving, but the food was pretty bland. The seasoning on gyro and chicken just wasn’t there.Not sure if it was an off night; only one person appeared to be working the floor (we were the only ones there on a weeknight dinner). I saw one person walk in after us, wait a few minutes for someone to take his order, and then walk out because no one came back to the dining area/takeout counter.

Visited Sam’s Gyros because a friend of mine that is visiting the states wanted to try it. The restaurant was quiet, the man who waited on us was very nice and easy going. The food was wonderful, I had the chicken shawarma and I will definitely be going back for another. There is a $1 charge to use card, but that’s really not a big deal to me, especially since the food was not expensive.
