Sorry, but this place needs gutted. Have been going in for years and have never seen it more disgusting. Looks like the new owners didn't do a damn thing to improve it. So sad for a local bar to expect their customers to sit in filth and eat extremely subpar food.Bar Rescue anyone?

This is a great bar! I only have to give service a 3 because often I do not get what I order. However I do not know if its the POS system or the server. However, they have been hiring some good bar tenders lately. I look forward to Taco Tuesday, Playing darts on Friday night after work, and drinking beer on Sunday afternoon. The regulars make this place fun.

Ordered the shrimp basket with fries. Everything was cold. Found out they were short a cook. Ordered it again today. Same thing. Shrimp was over fried and the cocktail sauce I ordered to go with the shrimp was frozen solid. Prices are too high for the quality of food. The service was good considering the fact that they are short on staff. Don’t even get me started on the bartenders. Oops, only one bartender when the place is busy.

Was looking forward to eating here for the first time. I ordered the grilled grouper dinner with steamed vegetables and substituted chicken and rice soup for the salad. Big mistake. I tried four times to force myself to eat the "soup" and couldn't do it. It was chicken and rice with very little broth and I'm sorry, but it tasted off. Can't describe it but it wasn't good. The steamed vegetables looked like they were mixed vegetables from a can. Not at all what I expected. I thought it would be cauliflower, squash, other vegetables. I guess my expectations were too high.The highlight of the meal was the grilled grouper and garlic bread. I'd get it again if I came back.Our server Shari was very good and apologetic for the slow service. I think it was a new cook and cook trainee.The pizza others ordered looked good and came out faster than anything else. The beef tips were flavorful but could have been a little more tender.If I ever go back I'd probably try a burger or the pizza. And salad or potato instead of soup. Maybe broccoli cheese or tomato would have been better.

Sad, I've been coming here for nearly 30 years and was looking forward to dinner with friends. Ordered the same food I've had for years and this time since new ownership it was the worst I've ever had. The steak was thin and terrible quality, not sure how they weren't embarrassed to serve it. The twice baked potato which had been one of my favorites for years was not a twice baked potato. It was just half of a baked potato with some sort of cheese stuff on it. Drink prices were double what they were previous. Service was terrible, orders came out wrong and we had to repeatedly ask where our drink orders were after waiting 15-20 minutes. Also could hear the bartender yelling at the servers about tracking spilled drinks on the floor. The music was good.
Tasty pub food (we had mozz sticks and tacos) and a great neighborhood atmosphere. It's not fancy, but it's just right for a cozy corner bar.

Love this southside neighborhood bar. Yes it's a little different since new owners but it was great tonight. Alex was quick with the drinks (4 bucks each!) and Sarah was the lone server and never missed a beat! Good tenderloin and bacon blue burger! I love this bar! I live North and take care of my mom on the Southside on Saturday's. I love having a few beers with the locals that have quickly become my friends. I look forward to going to Schneider's Pub every weekend!
