We stopped at Shakers Good Eats & Ale for lunch. It was pretty busy for lunch but the service was still good. They had a special on Long Islands and I got one of their bowls of mashed potatoes and steak. It is a great combination and very tasty. They offer family dining and bar seating.

Dietary restrictions: Food is made to order and can be modified

The menu online is not accurate. I ordered a fish sandwich that appeared to be whole piece breaded online. When got home with my take out order I discovered it was just a square mushed frozen filet. No flavor and turned to mush when I tried to eat it. False advertising. $15 for something not even the quality of Burger King is ridiculous. Will not be back.

Wife and I walked in and there is a sign at the door saying “wait to be seated”. Place had about 3 patrons…after waiting for about 10 minutes of not being greeted and only being stared at, my wife and I decided to walk out. As we leaving, one of there patrons walked out and said “I don’t blame you for leaving, their service and food is trash”. I do not recommend this place at all.

I had the "Hillbilly" breakfast bowl for lunch today. It came to the table hot and delicious with my eggs cooked perfectly. My server was friendly, polite, and attentive with a good sense of humor. I enjoyed my time there today. By all means, give this place a try.

Cindy was a very personable bar tender. Order the half plate of Nachos unless you have a group with you. I am 6’4” and 269 lbs. The full plate was too much for me.

Great atmosphere and great menu off the bat.... We got the Friday special surf and turf and there was a few hiccups. I order a side of Brussels sprouts and they forgot to add the bacon 🤦🏼, medium rare steak was very red all the way through and the baker was too firm to eat 🤷🏼 Good mac and cheese, good beer... And I think we would have had better service if they hadn't offered us the booth option. They were full in the booths and the server was overwhelmed.

Thought we would try a new place and decides to go local.

The we ordered an appetizer of garlic knots which comes with queso and marinara. The knots came out around room temperature. The marinara was cold and tasted like it came out of a bottle in the fridge. The queso was OK but reminded me of Tostidos queso from the jar.

We then ordered a fried chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken came out grilled. When we told the guy that it was supposed to be breaded he hesitated and told us that the grilled one tasted good. We told him that it might be the case but it's not what we ordered. He tried again to get us to take it.

Also ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and fries The wrap was average again with the minimum amount of buffalo sauce possible. Couldn't really taste it. The fries were, once again, room temperature. They are supposed to be "seasoned fries" but I'm pretty sure they just went to the Kroger next door and bought some store brand fries in a bag. Neither of us are them.

From what we can tell, nothing there is house made. Worse, it's low quality pre-packaged food that's just warmed up. It's pricier than a normal normal restaurant but definitely doesn't reflect that in the quality.

Good Eats, Good Ale, Expensive as Hale

They have good food, their burger is pretty good, along with their fries and their ketchup ooh baby.

The service was good, but it definitely seemed like training was going on, because when i went in may, they said they were understaffed. Only one cook was behind the grill and they were training, So I persuade you to work here if you want to get behind the grill.

The atmosphere was awesome, not only were they playing sports, but also some Educational Television, and hell even friends on a few tvs.

Overall, go here to eat, but watch out if you have a shallow wallet, for it can definitely get up to 70-$80 for 3 people.
