Shapiro's Delicatessen

My wife took me to lunch to this deli since so many people were talking about it on TikTok and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches were huge, fresh and tasty. The customer service was outstanding from Frank, Porsha and Alisse. The cake slices were the bomb dot com too, we bought the marble and lemon cakes and both were very good. We will definitely return to this restaurant again and bring some family, friends and coworkers. I highly recommend Shapiro’s Deli you will NOT be disappointed. They also have a cafeteria style section where you can purchase an assortment of food such as spaghetti, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, roasted chicken and more. I give them 10 stars ✨

I had never heard of Shapiros before. I went here because it was conveniently located to Lucas Oil Stadium.

The gentleman in the line in front of us said they were known for their Reubens. Despite their extensive menu with plenty of options, I ordered the Reuben. It was delicious! A bit pricy but it is very close and convenient to the stadium. There is nothing special about the atmosphere. It's basically a cafeteria, much like you'd see inside a large hospital except its a stand alone restaurant. Not bad, but probably wouldn't choose to go here again unless I was in the mood for an expensive Reuben.

I did notice there was a lot of police presence when we went so I definitely felt safe while I was there!

Vegetarian options: If you are vegetarian you may want to be careful here because seeing every one else eating their delicious reubens and corned beef sandwiches might make you think twice about your life.

Parking: The place was busy, parking spot was hard to find. The parking lot was free, but I was there and there wasn't even a huge event going on at Lucas Oil, but the lot was still quite full.

Kid-friendliness: Not kid unfriendly or friendly, just a cafeteria.

The reuben is good, but it's not $21 good. It's a big sandwich, but not so big that you could get two meals out of it. It's overpriced in my opinion. The carrot cheesecake was excellent and reasonably priced. All the staff was friendly. Line moves a little slow though.
