I was at IU Indianapolis for work and decided to get a snack, I had never been before and wanted to try something new. The staff was friendly, and helped me right away, they have a nice menu, with a nice selection of healthy foods. I decided to go with the chocolate and peanut butter protein smoothie, it was delicious and filling. When I am back for work again, I'll certainly make a second visit.

Two stars. Just not that good and too expensive. Deuces. Would not go back. Go visit Chipotle down the road.

food lacks freshness, can tell they do not rotate stock. chicken and quinoa is hard. staff clearly doesn't have good training. school should really crack down on the food standards for this place

Huge disappointment. I've been going to IUPUI for six years and was very excited when I saw they replaced the snack food shop with this to-go healthy food place.. so the “protein” part of the meal ins't completely terrible. I am confused about the sides though. I ordered a meat-shroom bowl with winter vegetables and my friend ordered braised pork bowl with sautéed greens and we were both served the same musky (really musky) mushrooms. I love mushrooms but these were actually gross. I asked about the difference and I was told "that's what it comes with" but why would they have different names? Maybe this is taking it too far but the polenta actually tastes like water. And then the smoothies? lol just don't. They're SEVEN DOLLARS and it tastes like ice and maybe a hint of fruit. It's a bummer because I thought IUPUI was finally offering a quality food options and it definitely is not.

Honestly I get free coupons for smoothies here so prices don’t effect me. Good smoothie and they’re pretty quick. This is a restaurant Michelle Obama dreamed for kids in school

I'm not impressed. I feel like it is a good idea to have a salad bar with a protien preference. Or even healthier/wholesome options. I have eaten there probably 5-10 times. Tried something different every time but finally stuck with the $10 build your own salad. Safest way to get what you want. As far as I know anything goes. I feel like there is a lack of training on the rules and the employees are just giving people what they ask for. As a customer it should not be a problem. From a business perspective, I think it is a waste of profits. They are basically throwing money down the drain. I'm not really sure if there is a regular rotation for product to ensure freshness. The advertised "lemon chicken" is no longer that. Instead it is rotisserie chicken sitting in its juices. The lady that made my salad took my cash payment with her gloves still on, then proceeded to grab a salad container before she realized she needed to change gloves. She didn't wash her hands when she did. I should of asked her to wash them but I decided not to because I have been in her shoes before. I ate the product, it's everything I expected. My digestive system did not agree however. Oh well, nothing a little water and a workout can't fix. Please focus on training the employees for this concept. I understand that other major concepts like ? express and Chick fila are more profitable and seem to be doing amazingly well. I feel like this store is being left behind and not being given the attention it needs. So there. That's my review. My experience. Was that honest enough?I appreciate the effort. Maybe I should apply for a position.

I happened to be around the IUPUI campus today and wandered into the campus building. They always have such great food options! Simply Puur is a very nice place! The employees were chopping fresh vegetables and fruits while I was in there. They had lots of bottled waters and drinks and fresh fruits you could purchase. They also have kiosks where you can order your smoothies and have plug ins on the wall to use if you have any devices that need charging. A lady in front of me ordered a chicken Caesar salad. It was huge!!! All of the options you could pick from looked great. Very fresh! I'm not a vegetarian, but if you are this would be a great option. They have avocado toast. That's always a winner. Oh, if you walk into the campus center from University Boulevard then it's on the main floor. You can't miss it. The salad I purchased was big and filling. Give it a try if your around the area.
