Food is great, but service is lacking. Waited over 45 minutes today for a salad to go order. Thry should warn patrons. I would have left if I had known it was going to take almost an hour. They also blocked the Canal entrance, so I won't be back until springtime. Unwise and great way to lise business.
I didn't come here with much expectations, but the food was really good. Excellent chicken salad sandwich - the dried apricots and almond were great additions to flavor and texture. The minestrone and the chilli cornbread complemented each other very well. Samiyah the server was very friendly and cleaned my table promptly for me. No wonder the place was packed when I came.
This is a nice little restaurant for lunch, walkable from IUPUI campus. It has a broad menu with a focus on foods native to America such as bison, cod, wild rice, etc. The prices are good and the service is friendly. If the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is the best feature!
