On my way home saw the The Soul Food Shack sign. So I stopped in. Very clean professional looking establishment. A very friendly young lady came out to inquire how could she help. So very pleasant. I ordered the Smothered pork chops with collard greens and fried potatoes. Husband and I surely enjoyed this meal. Chops and greens were on point. Potatoes had a great flavor but just a little mushy. Whatever I was truly impressed.

This was our first time here, and all I can say is, OMG!!!!! This was, by far, the best meal I have eaten in a long time! I had fried catfish with collard greens, candied yams, and corn bread. My husband had smothered chicken wings on rice with mac n cheese, corn bread, and potato salad. Everything was home made and brought to the table fresh and hot (yes!) I KNOW Food, and this was excellent. If you are in the area (or not), definitely stop by and tuck in! You will be SOOOO glad you did! Mr. Johnny, I think I'm in love ❤️, you can cook for me any time!

Stopped in right before closing, the host and chef went above and beyond to serve my wife and I. We had fried catfish, collard greens, and candied yams. My meal was smothered chicken wings over rice with potatoes salad and mac and cheese. Both meals came with cornbread. The meal was one the best we ever had. Cannot express our joy, Took pics of the meal.

Came and ordered the meatloaf, greens, yams, and cornbread and when i tell you EVERYTHING was delicious, IT WAS!
I also ordered a side order of salmon croquettes, and they were superb!
