No veggie plates.. so ordered sides individually, which were great but wish larger portions were provided. I paid $15 for 3 sides and 1 piece of cornbread and was given them in 3 tiny white containers vs it being placed into the try as a meal portion, will ask nexttime. Overall highly recommend this place for soul food. Check it out.

I went to this place as a recommendation from a coworker. I got the catfish meal. The fish was on point. Actually everything was really good. Friendly service and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place. Now I need to take a nap. 😊

I must say this is a hidden gem seasoning is everything and they got it right this was my first time there and those fried pork chops were finger licking good. seasoning was perfect they were hot and fresh without a long wait. Me and the wife will be back on Sunday for the beef pot roast. It was truly refreshing for a smaller restaurant to provide great service.

I rode past this place for a very long time without even noticing it when I finally noticed it I was so interested in it because I love soul food and we don’t have very many good places here when I finally got a chance to call I wanted to know if they had dressing because that’s what I’m always looking for the guy sounded frustrated and irritated but he told me what days they have dressing so I simply said I’ll try again months went by and I just came in this past Wednesday which was my moms two month death anniversary so I wasn’t having the best day already I came in and still there for a few minutes and I was never greeted so I left after a few minutes I’m a picky eater so most of the food I see that I love is served on Sundays I would love to be able to try their food one day but it’s all about how you treat people be happy to answer questions and greet people who are interested in your business the people are who keep business up and running I understand any business can be overwhelming it takes a lot to run a business but you aren’t suppose to change how you treat your customers maybe one day I can finally try this place and update my review I just want good food and customer service and I was taught to be mindful of what others may be going through

i had ribs which where good. and my mom got ox tails i wish the sweet potatoes was sweeter or maybe like crusted but presentation beautiful . only two tables to sit at inside and outside they have maybe 4 bench tables . if you get an extra side it is smaller portion then the other

The food here was good, I didn't get the sides I ordered, but the fish and chicken were good. Would have loved to try the cabbage and potatoes. We will try them again however.

I can’t say anything bad about this place! I have been searching for that Louisiana taste everywhere and THIS PLACE IS IT! The seasoning is perfect, their ingredients they use are all fresh and the vegetables on my po boy tasted like they were from a home grown garden!, the fish is fried perfect, the chef and family working in the store are courteous and helpful! I will absolutely be back! Definitely looking forward to a Sunday! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I enjoyed the whiting and the macaroni .my boyfriend enjoyed the macaroni and the meatloaf they give out really big portions .the cornbread was good
