While the service is always good and the food is awesome, we won’t be back until the political stuff is gone!

whoever the small hispanic looking man is at the front counter, is so incredibly rude. Had an attitude and spoke to me as if i was supposed to know the obvious. I am a dasher and when i went to pickup an order, he was incredibly disrespectful when telling me he doesn’t believe who i am just because i didn’t have an id?
i have never had this type of issue with stores, i understand the new protocol, i respect it, what i have an issue with is how that man spoke to me

It was around noon on Thanksgiving day, and the Stacks Pancake House Bar & Grill was the only restaurant that was open. We were truly surprised by the good quality and affordable price of the dishes. Our little picky eaters finished the pancakes. It is a great find for us, and we will definitely come back again!

It was a great decision by the owners to convert this place into a breakfast restaurant! It definitely fills a void in the area. We came in shortly after the morning rush and were very happy with the service and food. The staff was super friendly and seated us quickly. The short stack of pancakes was huge and tasted great. I think this place might actually have the best pancakes in Indy!

Parking: Large strip mall lot.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of good options for kids, even the picky ones.

This was, without a doubt, the oddest dining experience ever. The restaurant was empty so we went to the bar. I asked our male server his name, and he replied, "Why do you want to know?" My guest ordered a Mimosa, the server set it on the bar, sat behind the bar directly across from us, and scrolled through his phone. We were presented with a check that said "Mia", but when I asked the female server if she was Mia, she said, "It's Maria." Finally, as an extra added bonus, when you pay your tab with a credit card, it appears in your records under the name of the former place of business at this location.

Took my large friend group here early on a Saturday morning and had good service and food. The severs are younger but very friendly. When we got in there were a couple other groups set but by the time we left around 11:30 it was very busy. The food took a bit but we also had 9 people so that’s understandable. We do miss the old decorations of el mezcal but I hope to see this new business thrive. I’d give 6 stars for price. My family of 3 ate for $25 meanwhile other places it can run as high as $50.

Was looking forward to trying this new breakfast place. But once we were seated the waiter was short with us and didn't check to make sure our food was right or if we needed refills. We won't be coming back.

Absolutely would not recommend. On the rare occasion I could afford to take my son to breakfast (it was my birthday) I wanted to try this place out. The Mexican restaurant was pretty good that was there before. I was surprised that it’s 11.99 for just biscuits and gravy two eggs and bacon no hash browns included but these days thing are expensive. My son and I got that and ordered the hash browns on the side. The food came out with the eggs on top of what little gravy they provided. The gravy was awful as it is the gravy mix out of the packet. The biscuits were store baught as well and dry. I know restaurants need to make as much as possible but there is no reason to cut corners with literally the easiest thing ever to make. I waiter was super sweet and asked if I wanted to talk to the owner. Literally 5 people in this restaurant and she didn’t take the time to go and speak with a customer. restaurants like this will not be able to keep doing this to customers and keep their doors open.

Saw the great reviews and were excited to have breakfast today. We were sat promptly, but that where the positives stopped. Our server Vickie approached with no greeting, no hello, just a blunt "one check or two?" We ordered two bloody Mary's that were simply tomato juice and maybe some vodka in glass not even full. We placed our order reluctant because of the questionable service up to that point but hoping for great food as the reviews suggested. 5 or 10 minutes later, our server asked us a question about our order that was clearly stated on the menu, meaning she hadn't put the order in yet. We ordered an eggs Benny and an angry breakfast burrito, when they came out the eggs Benny was covered in scrambled eggs, not poached and the burrito had no eggs whatsoever. Our server bounced around so fast that we were unable to get her attention long enough to say anything so we asked the manager who was glued to a computer screen behind us. They remade our food, and the manager offered to make us another drink on the house for the inconvenience. We agreed. 10 more minutes later the server came by to tell us they had no more mix, or tomato juice to make us another drink. We declined anything and just wanted to eat our food. It was hot. And pretty good. We watched another couple get up and leave due to no service, and witnessed 3 arguments between servers and the manager about things right in front of us and other guests. We were very hopeful for another spot to frequent on our weekends together, but we will not be returning.

Great Food, Great Value!
This new diner has been open for about two weeks, and it’s already making a strong impression. From the outside, it may not seem like much, but step inside, and you’ll be surprised by how spacious it is. Whether you’re dining solo or with a large group, this place can comfortably accommodate parties of nearly any size.
One standout is the ample free parking, making it hassle-free for visitors. Once inside, you’ll find both booths and table seating options, catering to your preference.
For my meal, I opted for the Meat Lovers Omelette, a hearty dish loaded with crispy bacon, savory ham, sausage, and gooey cheddar cheese. It was served with perfectly cooked hash browns, a side of sourdough toast, and a cup of hot coffee—an excellent combination to kick-start the day. The portion size was generous, and the omelette was huge!
The service was equally impressive. I was greeted and seated promptly, and the staff was attentive throughout my visit. Best of all, the meal was a steal at just a little over $16. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal at a great price, this diner is definitely worth a visit.
Delicious food, friendly service, and unbeatable value. Give them a try!
