I just waited at the drive through window for
approximately 7 minutes for egg white bites. I spent a total of approximately 20 minutes in the drive through line which is absurd. To top it off, the employee at the window didn’t greet me or apologize for my wait. Customer service and efficiency training is clearly needed for this location.

I’m really disappointed with the lack of customer service at this Starbucks drive-thru. It seems like they’re more focused on volume and value rather than the customer experience. This morning in the drive-thru, I asked for extra syrup in my drink and was told by the barista that they aren’t allowed to add it. I didn’t care how much it cost—I’m the customer, and I just wanted the drink the way I like it. I went to a different Starbucks right after, and they had no issue adding the extra syrup. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a negative experience at this location. Every visit here is frustrating. I’ll be avoiding this spot from now on.

On my recent trip to Starbucks, I had the chance to observe the service and taste their coffee, which I’ve heard so much about. From the moment I entered, I noticed that the staff was polite, but nothing particularly stood out. They greeted me with the usual pleasantries, and while they were professional, I didn’t feel a sense of personal connection. The overall vibe of the café was pleasant, with the typical Starbucks ambiance, but the interaction with the staff felt a bit routine.

The baristas efficiently took orders and prepared drinks, but the level of friendliness seemed more procedural than genuine. I wouldn’t say they were unfriendly, but there wasn’t a noticeable warmth or extra effort to engage beyond the basic customer service norms. While they were clear and helpful in answering questions about the menu, it was a fairly standard interaction.

Regarding speed, Starbucks lived up to its reputation for efficiency. Despite the moderate crowd, my order was ready fairly quickly. I ordered a grande cappuccino, and it was prepared within a few minutes. The staff worked in sync, and it was clear they were well-versed in handling a large number of orders in a short amount of time. However, the experience felt slightly rushed, as though they were focused more on moving the line than ensuring each customer had a unique experience.

As for the coffee, Starbucks offers a consistent product, but I found my cappuccino to be somewhat underwhelming. The espresso was decent, with the bold flavor I’ve come to expect, but it lacked some of the complexity I’ve experienced at other coffee shops. The milk was steamed to the right temperature, but the foam felt slightly flat, and the texture didn’t have the velvety smoothness that makes for an exceptional cappuccino. While the coffee was certainly drinkable, it didn’t stand out in a memorable way. I had hoped for a richer flavor profile, but instead, it was a bit one-note.

One of the reasons Starbucks has remained so popular is its reliability. You can generally expect a certain level of quality no matter where you go, but this visit didn’t leave a lasting impression. The coffee tasted fine, but I’ve had better at local, independent cafes where the attention to detail seems more evident. At Starbucks, the focus on speed and efficiency sometimes comes at the cost of a truly standout coffee experience.

During my visit to Starbucks, I decided to order a brownie along with my cappuccino, only to find out that they were out of stock. While this was disappointing, the staff handled the situation professionally. They immediately informed me of the shortage and offered alternatives from the pastry selection. When I declined and opted for a refund instead, they processed it efficiently without any hassle. The barista apologized for the inconvenience, which I appreciated, and the whole interaction was smooth and straightforward. Though it was a minor setback, their handling of the issue reflected a commitment to professional service.

In conclusion, while my Starbucks visit was satisfactory, it wasn’t exceptional. The staff was polite and efficient, but I didn’t feel a strong sense of friendliness or personalized service. The coffee was good but not remarkable, with a flavor that, while consistent, lacked some of the depth I enjoy in a great cup. Starbucks remains a convenient option for those looking for a quick, reliable coffee, but for those seeking a more intimate or flavorful experience, there are likely better options. Overall, it was a decent stop, but not one that left a lasting impression.

I ask for Carmel Ribbon Crunch and got just a Carmel frapp. I even asked at the window if it was ribbon crunch and the lady said yes and I didn't have more time to waste since I had already been waiting in line for a while. And sat at the window for a while too before I even got greeted window was closed.

I pull up just before 7 pm because online it says they close at 7:30 and they told me they “close at 7” so they would not even consider taking my order.
Update your hours then and I would have came earlier.
Never experienced bad customer service at a Starbucks until now :(

Friend I was with has difficulty socially and chose to place an order and go through drive thru to pick up, to minimize stress. Was treated very rude by the barista and told to park instead since they just received the order. Irony was, the drive thru was moving slowly and they would have had longer to make the drink. Starbucks, do better. No one is trying to cut in line.

Can’t believe I tipped them ahead of time. I was sitting there for 25 mins in an almost empty shop where 4-5 employees were working waiting for my drink. Apparently they already had it prepared but had it waiting for me at the counter by the cash register smh (I did not order tea either). Poor customer service, I can’t tell if they’re mentally incompetent or just don’t care

One of the best Starbucks in Indy. The baristas are all very polite, helpful. Including my favorite Barista JoJo. She does a great job with her recommendations and knowledge of all the drinks.JoJo is a great asset to Starbucks. This location is my go to for my coffee.

Don’t come here until after 9am in the morning if you are in a rush. Crowded and slow and they can’t help it. The coffee is not that fresh anyway and not worth it but it’s crowded and busy because it convenient. Too crowded. Not able to provide you with anything but pressured serviceEdit: came back when slow because mistake on a birthday drink. Girl was so chill and so nice awesome. I take back anything bad I ever said. She was so cool, fixed it, and she completely changed my mind about this place. Her name was Keisha. And I got a puppichino!

I usually go to certain Starbucks, but the drink taste like hot pepper spice when I drunk the iced shaken espresso at this location. I sipped 4 times and I had to throw it away. I thought it was my taste bud, sure enough it wasn’t my taste buds; when I went to my usual Starbucks I go to no pepper taste. It was this location 75th had that hot pepper spice taste. I came here multiple times in the past few this was the worst ever and I won’t be coming back to this one. Make sure to go get your money back. You wonder who’s making your drinks or food. Unfortunately, the drive through looks rough with no update electronic signage like majority of the update Starbucks . The one down south shadeland on 19th is better.
