We attended a convention across the street and were looking to get away for a while and saw the Starbucks sign so decided to head on over. It’s located in the beautiful lobby of the remodeled Marriot in Downtown Indianapolis and we were happy to be able to sit in such nice surroundings but the experience at this particular Starbucks was less than stellar. They weren’t busy but chose to ignore us for a bit, and then the bored teenager at the register was kind of dismissive or impatient or just that… she was being a teenager. We asked what breakfast sandwiches were available because some Starbucks in different states offer different products than other states, but she smacked her gum and said in an annoyed voice while pointing at the display “basically what’s there”. They were low on products, one biscotti, no madelines, no donuts, no rice krispy treats, no bananas etc. I get there’s a convention across the street, but you knew that months in advance, be prepared at least, if you can’t manage to be attentive. There’s restaurant in the same lobby and there’s a bar that had a coffee machine on the counter though I didn’t see it turned on. Next year when we go back, I’ll try one of those two options for coffee and breakfast. Also, they closed up really early even though their Google overview says they close much later. Whatever.

I don't know if the staff was new or what, but this was the worse service I've ever experienced at a Starbucks. Orders took 15-20 minutes to make. What's worse is that all cups were placed out unmarked (no receipt, no names written on the cup) and the barista basically whispered the drink name out to a crowd of waiting customers before turning away. The order counter was just a sea of 10+ unmarked cups so no one had any idea where their order was. When I asked if they could write the name of the order on the cup (or at least attach a receipt) to clear up confusion -- they said \\\"that would be a great idea\\\" then proceeded to put more unmarked cups out. No system at all.

Best staff and quick service. Cordell served us our coffee and was super nice. He even helped us pick the perfect drink. Definitely will be back on my next trip ?

My wife and I stopped in and she had a coffee. I asked for a Coke or Pepsi and was ASKED TO LEAVE! Apparently they are such a SNOB ORGANIZATION that they cannot accomodate someone who does not drink coffee.

Great team, fast moving line. Pure Starbucks

On every trip I take across the US I look for a Starbucks to get my mornings off to a great start. This Starbucks did not disappoint!

Ordered a caramel ribbon crunch, coconut milk, no whip. It was made with whip. Mentioned that to the person making the drink and she copped an attitude. Absolutely ridiculous. The person who ordered this is lactose intolerant. Your employees need to be more careful, and not cop attitudes when THEY make the mistake. Blatantly making things wrong could be seriously dangerous when playing with peoples allergies. Came up here for the race, not to see my wife in the hospital because your employees are incompetent.

Busy Starbucks location but they have almost all of the best items and do participate in the rewards program. Be prepared to WAIT during events at the hotel or convention center as this is the closet location to those venues

I have noticed that the customer service is really bad at the Starbucks inside the Marrott on Maryland downtown. I go through the hotel to get to work and only when theres no line I will visit. The last 2 mornings this week were the worst customer service I've seen at any Starbucks! I won't be going back there again!

Horrible Service, immediately said we’re out to everything asked without checking. Little to know she charged me for it without telling me. I was not only charged for two products i didn’t receiver. But they gave me others that I didn’t want or ask for. Including leaving pieces of plastic in the lemon bread.

I was in the area for the first time attending a womens conference on Saturday October 9 2021. I waited 20 minutes in line because this location did not take mobile orders. I get to the register and Amy already had a stank face. I showed her my phone and what I normally order thinking that would be easier for her to enter instead of me saying it. She lets out a big sigh and tilts her head with an attitude and irritation. I asked if she would like me to read it to her, she lets out another sigh with "ugghh". She was very rude and unprofessional. She seemed to forget that taking Starbucks orders is her job. I didn't pick her and say take my order I demand you. This is her job. If she cannot handle the crowd perhaps she shouldn't work at Starbucks in a highly rated hotel. I was looking forward to my drink that I happily paid over 6$ for. She needs customer service training and professional communication training as well. And if she just doesn't like people then maybe she should walk dogs instead of work at Starbucks.

Fair warning. This is the closest Starbucks to the convention center so the line can be daunting. Staff kept it moving. Clean facility. Smaller Starbucks so I'm not sure it has all of the equipment needed to make all of the drinks that you find in a stand alone store. Breakfast and pastry items in the case. They do accept payment from the app.

Highly recommend having them repeat your order back. They miss some things

Unfortunately I don't think your employees here have been trained on all of the drinks. I asked for a Starbucks double shot on ice, drink that has been around for years, and the barista did not know how to make it. Both of the ladies behind me in line also did not get the drinks they had ordered.
