Two months in a row I called the location to confirm that I could pick up a larger order at a specific time. Both occasions they hadn’t started my order at the pickup time. I understand they are busy but the manager couldn’t care less.

Holy cow I showed up here today. I come here not very often because my usual location is Emerson and Eleanor. My favorite girl is in here working! Such a great addition to the team. She is absolutely phenomenal. Always brings a smile to my face and I absolutely love her. Keep up the great work. I will definitely be returning.
More often than not, I order a Grande which is supposed to be 16 oz and I get anywhere from 11 oz to 13 oz consistently.

Very nice place to do homework. I go about every week and have yet to have a bad experience. Sometimes they are a little busy with the drive thru, but it is still very fast service. The tables are clean and it’s pretty quiet in the morning. I would highly recommend this place!

5 miserable looking employees standing around. Not one acknowledgement that my son and I walked into the building. I ordered my coffee on the app from my table since no one was at the counter or seemed interested. Watched as a handful of walk in customers were not greeted in any way. One woman stood at the counter until a girl went to take her order with a nasty look on her face. My coffee sat on a back counter instead of being put in to go counter. I finally went and asked for it as it died out of sight. They were rude and unapologetic. The absolute disdain all of them seem to have for the job was really pathetic. If you like funeral parlors, this is the place to go but less friendly and lively.

The entire team at this Starbucks location truly deserves a raise and a huge round of applause! I’ve been a regular since the very first day they opened, coming in every single day without fail, and I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. Their customer service is unmatched! They greet me by name every day, remember my usual order, and go above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of. I even mentioned my nut allergy early on, and they are always so careful to ensure my drink is made safely.
Just recently, I tried a new drink, and the staff went out of their way to make sure it was made perfectly by letting me use a brand-new shaker cup to avoid any cross-contamination—talk about thoughtful! So many places could learn a thing or two about hospitality from this Starbucks. I always tell my friends and family that I have *Starbucks friends* here, and I’ve even brought people in specifically because the staff is so kind and friendly. If ever there’s an issue with my order, they’re quick to fix it, and it’s done with a smile.
As someone who works in customer service myself, I can genuinely say their service is top-tier. No matter how busy they are, they always make time to be friendly and make my day brighter. I look forward to my daily visits without fail. A huge thank you to everyone at the Southport Starbucks for consistently going above and beyond! Keep being awesome! 🙌☕

The staff at this location is extremely rude! When I received my drink and it didn’t have code foam (something I paid extra for ) I requested for her to put it on there and she responded. “Do you really need that” I called a manager to let him know, and he was very unprofessional and didn’t even give me his name.

I stopped Starbucks at 8000 East Southport Rd. to get the egg bites and cappuccino grande at 11:15 AM today and the young man waited on me they cook my eggs. OK they should’ve been dark workers of bacon not never done. I usually go to the one on Thompson and the bacon is raw every time I go there even though the picture shows it supposed to be brown and I asked him and he said oh yeah we cook him OK so I got that and then I asked for three raw sugars and so he had my stuff and he said thank you have a good day real nice young man and I said I didn’t need three sugars so he gives me three sugars with no stir, but it was better service than the one on Thompson Road and I go there almost daily and the egg bites are always raw. The bacon is raw hanging out of them and I bought a mini times on Thompson Road East Thompson Rd. and I don’t know the products right because we’re paying top dollar for these and we want you know just what we asked for, the Starbucks East Southport hundred E. Southport Rd. they’re usually really good but the eggs weren’t cooked enough was really dry so it just had a very little coffee in the bottom and I ordered the same thing everywhere I go in every time it’s different now Thompson has a better coffee as far as making it correctly and I don’t know why the staff is not being trained to make everything the same but anyway, I recommend that 8000 E. Southport Rd., Starbucks and I always ask for whole milk for my frost and the one on E. Thompson Rd. it’s always watery like they make it with one percent. It makes a big difference I can make profit home. I don’t want water. I don’t know if they’re not emptying out the water container after they rinse it or if they’re just using one percent milk and I always ask for whole milk and it makes a difference because that’s what I drink over my rant is over employees could use more training on making it exactly as it is supposed to be made. We don’t want less or more. We just want what we ask for and I always tip no matter what.

I have given this Starbucks several chances and even allowed them to remake the drinks each time. I believe if you’re paying 9 dollars for a Pumpkin Spice Frappe/Latte… at the very least I should taste like the traditional pumpkin. I’ve tried several of the classics and they just don’t get it right. It is a fairly new location so maybe they will figure out the recipes over time. Just go to the Starbucks in Kroger or find another location. The recipes are not being followed in my opinion.

Just went through the drive through and ordered an Iced macchiato with a few things added, nothing crazy. The lady taking my order then proceeds to let out a very loud sigh, like my order was a big inconvenience to her personally. I have worked food service and retail, and no matter how bad of a day you are having, or annoyed you are at a customer, you don’t let it show. I am new to the area, and this was not a great first impression.
