This was our first visit to this franchise. Fresh and delicious food, served quickly. Surprisingly economical for our family of four. Bathrooms were very clean. If the other restaurants are run as well as this, we will be searching them out on our travels. Well done.

I went to this location and the drive up was packed at lunch time so I went inside to place a take out order. Ordered on the Kiosk. Had to wait at least 15 minutes for the food. I ordered a double plain with cheese. Received a single with everything on it. I ordered a side of chili with cheese. Got a cup of chili with cheese and ONIONS. I hate onions. I tried to call there to speak to the manager and they would never pick up the phone. The girl doing all of the cooking needs to read the tickets she is preparing and quit complaining and cursing about mgmt and her schedule. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! AND FOOD SUCKED.

Halloween night the employees got slammed with 50 people showing up all at once plus they had a couple drinks from the drive thru that came in trying to cook their own food and the employees handled it very well refusing to serve the belligerent lady all while trying to get all the food out... ((We had 5 large meals ourselves)) Even while the police dept showed up to check on their safety they kept the food orders coming out and I was pretty impressed by all of their professional actions during such a touch and go situation!!!

I've always been a fan of Steak 'n Shake. COVID situation from 2020 caused them to change quite a bit. They used to be full service with servers that seated you, took your order, and all. It was good service, too. Now you have to pay at a kiosk and listen for your name to be called. That being said, I love their 5-way chili!

Went through the drive thru which was packed, so service was slow, that's understandable. What isn't understandable is we were promised a $5 discount because the kids hotdog meal was all out, but when paying they didn't take anything off at all. That was the first problem, honestly I would've let that go. When we got the food one of our boxes of fries was completely DUMPED UPSIDE DOWN and ALL THE FRIES WERE ALL OVER THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG. That's problem 2. The third issue was that we were supposed to get 3 fries and only got 2. I understand the rush of a fast food restaurant and understand mistakes are made but this is ridiculous. I will never come back to this location and will strongly recommend others against it. It's not that hard to follow through on a promise, put fries in a bag the right side up, or make sure all the food is in the bag before going out the window. Ridiculous.

We ordered a milk shake which tasted like ground up ice with milk in it. I did see people ordering the hamburgers and fries which looked really good though.
The thing for me was how filthy the place was. The floor's were so sticky and gross, all over, and I don't feel they are ever busy enough to where this is ok and I drive by there at least 2 times a day. My boys dropped a spoon, went to pick it up and said there was so much bubble gum under the table that some of it looked like it was even moldy.
I tell you what they are. Some shake making fools. They make the best shakes and I've always loved their hamburgers. My aunt retired from steak 'n shake so steak and shake's always been one of my favorite. Like everything else. It's a little bit pricey but not that bad. You know it's cheaper to go there and get a real good meal than it is McDonald's

I don’t know about the food. I only went in for a shake. UGH. Wish I hadn’t wasted my time. Starting with the stupid kiosk. First it irritates me I have to do everything myself then they have the nerve to ask for a tip. I was the only customer in the restaurant and when I walked in there were no cars. While I was waiting for my milkshake, three cars had orders taken and served as well as a walk in whose order was wrong. So they made him a complete new order including two milkshakes while I continued to wait. 20 minutes later I finally got my shake. I would obviously never come back.
I will never go back.
