WOW! I have never felt so out of place and not welcomed in a setting. As a chef and someone that’s worked in the food industry for about a decade this is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. It’s sad to see this as a representation of a Subway. I ordered just 3 cookies and was working on my business at the dining table. The restaurant was empty with moderate customers walking in and out. After roughly 30 mins of enjoying my snack and working on my business, (I’m assuming) the owner’s wife walks up and addresses me in an angry tone. I had my earphones in so it was hard to understand her but when I took them out she informed me that the dining area was closed for cleaning. It was 4pm so I was a little confused, I asked for clarification, “closed?” After that the owner approached me with the same attitude and told me, with his thick accent and irate tone, “you are being kicked out and you need to leave the store”. I had my receipt for everything and I wasn’t cause any disturbance but I chose not to argue out of confusion and the feeling of not being wanted in there. The energy was off and is definitely not giving friendly and welcoming. The 1 star reviews about this restaurant lines up exactly. I am NEVER coming back!!

There is a new employee Horace,not sure if that’s the correct spelling of his name they don’t wear name tags in this location.i stopped coming into this location about a year ago because of a employee telling me I couldn’t use my points ,either way I was in the area on a 30 minute break & decided to stop I completed & paid for my Order online so I merely wanted to stop & go as soon as I approached the counter he had me wait while he stepped in the back & went through his phone when he returned I told him I ordered on my phone & told him what it was he started to make the sandwich before he moved on with the order he asked if I wanted chips and drink I said no I ordered a footlong online it’s already paid for he told me “we don’t do that” I told him I order on the app all the time he then proceeded to tell me I have to wait outside until he makes the sandwich I told him that didn’t make sense but I stepped outside for about 3 minutes then when I returned he said he canceled my order because I’m disrespecting him I asked how & he started to yell he owns the place & that’s not what they do, I’m confused at this point so I asked are u the only one here he said yes & slopped together my sandwich & shoved it at me I asked for a receipt he told me if you ordered online you don’t get a receipt & to leave before he call the cops , I’ve never been more humiliated just to get food I paid for once I speak with a real manager I’ll never return to this location

Ordered sub twice this week just not to judge by first experience. But it confirms what I feel. Bread was stale.. it was horrible. Lady at the counter has no customer service experience at all I guess. No greeting nothing. Was only interested in her phone call. Try to ask a question but was not even interested rather interested in continuing the phone call. Both days same experience. Overall sub was very stale tasting and not fresh at all. Overall horrible

I asked the lady if it was 2 foot long subs for $12 deal here. She said yes. After I ordered 2 subs and 3 cookies it was $27. I asked her why she didn’t ring me up for the 2 for $12 deal and she said we don’t do that here. She lied to me from the start. When I ordered my subs I asked for extra green peppers. Every time I asked for more she would put one tiny piece of pepper on the sub and say what else. It took me asking 6 times for just the normal amount. Garbage location. I won’t be visiting this subway ever again.

I was with a client and she ordered a sandwich and requested the veggies on the side so she could take her sandwich to dialysis and the non English speaking staff insisted they couldn’t do it. The rude lady started raising her voice and I asked her to stop yelling because she was rude! I advised my client to never come back here so they get zero stars!!!

If i could put this in negative stars i would! Came in with my wife and she ordered a sandwich she customized to have black olives. The server misheard and added black pepper, which my wife is deadly allergic to. We kindly asked if they could remake the sandwich and they refused with an extremely unprofessional attitude. Both servers claimed the mistake was not their problem and they refused to fix the minor problem. We will NEVER come back to that establishment. If we could sue for the childish behavior and the fact that they could’ve put my wife in the hospital i most definitely would. It was a short dark man and a taller lighter toned man with a big beard behind the counter. If i was the manager I would’ve fired them on the spot for this interaction! Do better with who you hire.

Very rude! Ordered on the app (Buy one Get one) and I found that there aren’t adding everything to the sandwiches and when I asked they said you’re paying $10 to get all of that? And when I said that the other location is better they told me then why you came!!

This location at 600. Whatever the address is in Sunnyside by the Kroger‘s in Lawrence do not ever go here they are scammers who take money from little children 12 year old children. They lied to and do not cannot understand one word of English and then they blame you take your money will tell you they will not give you a refund and lie to you and scam you out of all the money. I almost had to call the police over 45 dollars because they tried to scam my 12 year old son be careful do not go to this location or you will have problems believe me they are terrible, terrible business owners and should be shut down, I filed a complaint with a Better Business Bureau and OSHA so they can go out there and all of this. Remind y’all everyone who read this this was over four dollars so that tells you how bad of an experience that this was they lied to my 12 year old son took his money, said that they did not have kids meals at this location when you go to their website at this location. It literally showed you all the kids menu options. They lied every single subway has a kids menu my children eat at Subway since they’ve been babies and that’s in subway been open for decades. I have never been to a subway that says they do not provide kids meals OK and then even if they didn’t, why would you take my child’s Money Not give him a refund and yelled yelled at us in the store like we were wrong after we paid money and they gave us the wrong thing. Be careful this all the type of people you do not want to spend your hard earned money on. They do not deserve any business. They deserve to have this door shut down .

Black piece of looks like mold in my cup from the ice machine they have. Employee tried to say it was being cleaned, no sign on it, and not one of the two employees stopped me from getting ice or said it was being cleaned. First and last time at this Subway. Gross and disappointing.

I come to this location once a week, the Subway worker was very very rude to my Mother just now. I have NEVER experienced that type of behavior ever from anyone especially for my Mother to come in here with me today, I couldn’t believe that he told us to go back to our country
