I wish we had a good experience, but that was simply not the case. So many things went wrong. First, our service was awful. While we weren't in a hurry, our waitress completely ignored us most of the evening. After being seated, it took her over 30 minutes for drinks/appetizers. She then disappeared and took another 30 minutes for the rest of our order. After we ordered dessert, we finally had to find someone else to ask if they could be packed to go, since it was another 30 minutes and at that time, we had just had enough. Again, when paying our bill, she disappeared. It was just a poor evening. Now...the food. The oysters Rockefeller were average, a little dry. We did the devour menu. The NY strips were okay but the filets were awful. Not to mention the mashed potatoes devoid of any seasoning, to the point they were inedible. Once we were home and able to try our desserts, the key lime pie was okay. However the banana bread pudding was simply awful...horrible texture and lacking a much needed sauce. It's been years since we had been to Sullivan's and we wanted to really like it, but we simply won't be back.
We love Sullivan's Steakhouse! The food is absolutely phenomenal and the service is amazing!
The manager Damon was rude and dismissive. My guest feel they were profiled when they entered the restaurant. Order oysters at 8:15pm that never came out.. that they tried to make better with a birthday desert she was already getting. Our food took almost 2 hours we left after 11pm for a 8:30 reservation where we couldn't be seated because our table was given away!
It was our first time eating here. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We tried the beef wellington appetizer and then ate the filet and New York strip. All of it was very good. We also tried the “knockout” martini and loved it.
We order the TomHawk steak and some sides. Now those steak are usually been cut at 1 1/2” to 2” for some unknown reason my steak was 1/2” very thing almost like a sirloin steak. Saying that the steak was dry and over cooked. It state 30oz I think the bone we got was 25oz and the steak was 5oz. Just to compare 2 weeks ago we been in Ruth's Chris and order the same steak and it was perfect. Side dishes were good and also the drink
I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Sullivan's. I had a team lunch celebration I held there this week. I had not been to Sullivan's in years but figured if they were still here they must be as good as when I last dined there. I was wrong. The entire restaurant needs a renovation. All the chairs had rips in the upholstery and the place only had about 6 total tables dining. I expected with it not being super busy for service to be prompt. It took over 2 hours for my party of 10 to complete lunch and that was due to how slow the service was. It took 1 hour for our entree order to be taken. There was only 1 chef for the entire restaurant and drink service was slow. The bisque was super watery, flavor was good just not the texture of a bisque. Steaks were not cooked to the temps ordered at/overdone. Appetizers were excellent. For the price point our group won't return nor would we as individuals. There are too many other places with better service, nicer ambiance and higher quality food for the price to go to. Hope this place gets the much needed renovation it needs so it can get back to the quality it used to stand for.
The food was okay, but the presentation did not meet the standards of a fine-dining restaurant. The service was also lacking. We had to repeatedly ask the staff for basic things, including serving plates, drink refills, and the removal of empty glasses and plates. We ordered a starter and were not given plates until we specifically asked. The Caesar Salad was salty. We also asked to get the desert togo and we later found the we got the wrong ones. Towards the end of the meal, the staff kept mixing up our check with other tables, which was frustrating and unprofessional. Additionally, we were seated in a small private room with a large, unattractive metal plate standing next to our table, making the space uncomfortable and uninviting. Overall, the experience did not justify the price.
There are things you ver priced. Pork belly on appetizers, it was 2 little chunks that were mostly fat and the pork was tough. Not work the money. Onion soup was ok. My husband's was burnt on top at first and the waitress on her own got him a new one. The mashed pity were bland, I got them minus the lobster. The steaks had good crust on the edges.
We had Thanksgiving reservations for 3:45pm. When we arrived there was a line out the door and tons of families who had been waiting for their tables for over an hour. I was with my son and did not get seated until 5:30pm! We did not get our meal until 7:00pm. Our Turkey was served raw and bleeding. I asked the manager for a refund as this was the most unacceptable situation I had ever been in, for a restaurant that is supposed to be 4-star. They had completely overbooked on Thanksgiving and there were many angry and disappointed families waiting and waiting and never being offered compensation or even a comped drink! The manager outright refused to offer me any refund or apology for the chaos that we and so many other families experienced on Thanksgiving. Please, do not go to this establishment. They are a complete unprofessional, inconsiderate restaurant that is clearly only concerned with making the most amount of money on a holiday rather than giving families any sort of memorable experience.
I ordered the 16 oz. ribeye steak. It was terrible. Looked like a flat pancake, no flavor and overcooked. Couldn't have been more than a half inch thick. Very disappointing. Drinks were good, but expensive. Wedge salads were good, as was the calamari. Overall, I was just bummed with the meat, which is the whole reason to visit a steakhouse.

Good food and great service. Very attentive and courteous staff. The restaurant needs a facelift. The upholstery on the chairs is showing significant wear and the bathrooms are small and need refurbishing. One of the toilet valves was running constantly and spraying water everywhere. You expect a better atmosphere with the expense of the meal.
Excellent service and food. Since it was Sunday afternoon it was very quiet. There for birthday and received complimentary chocolate raspberry cake. Yum!
Drinks took 15 minutes. Food was good but at those prices it certainly ought to be. Overall they were off their game.
The wine was exceptional. The food was not. First course was the beet salad and it was the best. From there it was downhill. Definitely not what I expect from Sullivan's.
Experience was good, but not great. Certain menu food items were not available on two occasions. Service was slow and may be impacted by a private event, but there appeared to be more than enough staffing to accommodate patrons. Value for price compared to other similar establishments is average.
