MANAGER IS SUPER SUPER RACIST AVOID THE 10TH STREET LOCATION AT ALL COSTS ‼️ I went into the 10th Street location which I have patronized many times. I also always order the same thing just because I'm a creature of habit. So I simply walked in and was greeted by a nice young lady and I said hello, may I have That One Roll with no wasabi mayo and no sesame seeds out of nowhere, this gigantic manager says she doesn't have anything to do with the toppings in a very snarky tone and that's taken care of after you order..... I said okay??? A bit confused and taken back by his tone so I say... I always order it the same way and no one else has ever had a problem with it..... Again confused not really understanding what the big deal is so the young lady proceeds to start making my food (again she was very sweet and very polite). She says hello good evening, I say hi 🤗 how are you? The gigantic manager then says NO ....you're not making her food for her. We have the right to refuse service. At first he said it very very low and I thought that's what I heard him say but I wasn't sure..... The young lady also didn't really hear him because she continued to make it so I don't really think she heard him either. Then he said it again The second time louder. No we're not making anything for her I'M THE MANAGER I HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE....that's it!!! That is the entire interaction. The only conclusion I can draw is because I am African American, He wanted to refuse service from the moment I walked in the door..... We live in a society now where if someone doesn't like the way that you look, or The color of your skin, they can simply treat you any kind of way 🤔how unnecessary and uncalled for all because I said no wasabi Mayo and no sesame seeds. COMPLETELY DISGUSTING. I really wish that I had recorded the interaction but again I didn't really expect to walk into a sushi place and have an issue because of a wasabi mayo and sesame seeds ....I DIDN'T YELL DIDN'T ARGUE I JUST SIMPLY SAID OKAY AND THEN SNAPPED A PICTURE OF HIM‼️ I've never had a problem before today and I will never ever ever go back EVERRRRRRRR.This is a disgusting way to treat people‼️‼️‼️ after all, we're all human beings, WE'RE ALL DIFFERENT WE'RE ALL DIFFERENT RACES, RELIGION , GENDER AND COLOR but I guess that's reason enough to refuse service in this day and age TUH.. I THINK THE IRONY IN ALL THIS IS THAT IT'S INTERNATIONAL CUISINE AT THAT.... Can you imagine?

I love that you can go in and watch them actually make your sushi roll. It's so fresh and delicious. The employees making the sushi really know what they're doing. I got a new roll that was a coconut shrimp it was very good. It had a nice sweet sauce on it. They did lose one star because their bathroom needed really cleaning. It also had no soap in the dispenser. There was no excuse for the bathroom not to be clean because there were four employees literally standing behind the counter talking and only one person making or sushi rolls.

This is great stuff, good sushi that rivals our Japanese place at home. We were very happy with the options and choices, which included some combinations we haven’t had before.
I've enjoyed this place since it opened. You can build your own sushi roll how you want it. There are so many options to try and combinations. Staff is awesome.
