Sweet Escape Cake Company

I am beyond disappointed with my experience. I was so excited to get a toy story cake for my daughter’s second birthday. But upon picking up the cake, I realized that it was a mistake to trust this company with my daughter’s birthday party. I will say that the cosmetic design of the cake was spectacular and whoever did the cake was beyond talented as it was done beautifully. Although the cake we ordered was about half the size that it was supposed to be. This was extremely disappointing as the cake was supposed to be the centerpiece of the table. I reached out to the owner Scott about this issue to see if we could rectify the situation, and that is where the horrible experience began. His response to the error on his company’s part was unbelievable. He began to blame me for their mistake and stated there was nothing they would do to rectify the situation and was extremely rude and hostile in his aggressive and inappropriate comments. I have never seen a business respond in such manner. He then told me I was fired as a customer. In addition to the cake being half the size that it was supposed to be, the cake was incredibly dry, and one of the flavoring was wrong. It is such a shame that this experience happened as we were thoroughly excited to use this company moving forward for all of our daughter’s birthday events. But instead, we got a cake that tasted horribly and was far less in size of what we wanted and paid for. And the customer service is lacking due to Scott’s unprofessional and inappropriate behavior.

We use sweet escape for our daughter's birthday. We asked for the cake in the picture. And this is the cake that we went to pick up. It is a fraction of the size. We were told that it would be the exact cake. It does look great, but now we can't feed. The people at the party that were supposed to be there. I'm not sure. How people run their business or how they handle customer care but the only one affected at this is our daughter. We were given a quote for the cake to be exactly and we picked up something completely unexpected half the size, and the owner Scott was hostile with my wife and refused rectify the situation.

I got cookies for a baby shower and they were super quick to give me an estimate and the cookies came out so cute!

I custom ordered a cake from Sweet Escape, and let me tell you, I definitely will be again in the future. They are extremely affordable considering the amazing quality of the cake. This wonderful cake really blew my boyfriend away for his surprise birthday party. And the custom ordering process is really easy. Thank you Sweet Escape for the perfect cake!

We booked with Sweet Escape Cake Company to cater our wedding with sweet treats. We had a small cake for us to cut, and cupcakes and cookies for the guests. Everything turned out PHENOMENAL and our guests raved. The desserts were beautiful and delicious.

We had to move our wedding date due to my cancer diagnosis from June to late August and Sweet Escape were so gracious and accommodating to the date change. They had everything to the venue in plenty of time and called the day before to confirm drop off details. Working with them was so wonderful- highly recommend!

This is the only cake place I will ever go to. They always do an excellent job and not only was the cake exactly what I asked for and fabulous, It tasted so good. All of my birthday guests were raving about this cake! Best cake place in Indy.

Order process was extremely easy, the smash cake and cake pops looked absolutely amazing, and everyone agreed everything tasted amazing! Our one year old loved his banana flavored smash cake and mom and dad enjoyed snacking on it after bedtime. 100/10 will be purchasing all future birthday cakes from here.

Shower cake was true to detail and absolutely too cute, chocolate highland cow was incredible, needless to say MANY compliments and mommy was pleased. Would definitely recommend any occasion cake. We will be scheduling a wedding soon and I WILL order from here. You won't be disappointed in craftsmanship or price.

Sweet Escape did an amazing job on the cake for my graduation party! It was so cute, absolutely delicious, (carrot cake with cream cheese filling) and very affordable! I would highly recommend them!
