Very flavorful. Staff was wonderful and patient as we made decisions. Seating was also cute.

This isn’t real Indian food. It’s ketchup on top of gross chicken. This is the long John silvers of Indian food. I tried it once and couldn’t finish it. You couldn’t pay me to eat here. It baffles me how some people like this. Literally google any other Indian restaurant and take the extra time to go there instead. I wish the Men In Black would laser me to forget the memory of ever eating this garbage.

What a fun spot! Tandoor & Tikka is located in the plaza right next to IUPUI with several other restaurants. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Fox59 had a promotion on this place, so decided to give it a shot! We went on a Saturday night. The restaurant was completely empty, but im assuming they get a lot of doordash/togo orders, as several of them came through while we were there. We decided to eat inside to get the full experience. It's set up as the Subway of Indian foods. You pick your protein (they have vegetarian options too), pick your curry, then up to 5 veggies (more will have an additional charge) I ordered the masala lamb rice bowl. The nice man who helped me looked at the lamb he had in the bin, and took it to the back to get fresh lamb. Same for my fiances food- he ordered the tandoori chicken pasta, and he went to the back again to get fresh pasta. He was also super friendly, customer service is top notch! For my rice bowl, I ordered the peanut curry, mushrooms, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and corn. The lamb was cooked PERFECTLY. It was literally falling apart and full of flavor. The peanut chutney was a little spicy (even though it was listed as the mildest one) but I am a wimp when it comes to spice. The overall flavor however was unbeatable- best Indian food I've had in Indy by far. Plus- they offer bottled and canned beer, which is a nice perk and was unexpected!! Definitely recommend trying this place out, we will be back to try the paneer and will be recommending!

I've gone to tandoor & tikka for awhile now as they're my favorite Indian restaurant, but when I went into this one I was met with the rudest customer service experience I've had. I ordered food and when I went in to pick it up the guy behind the counter completely ignored me. At first I didn't think much of it because there was a customer ahead of me but once he was done helping him he continued ignoring me. Eventually I went up to him to ask a question about my meal (politely) and he was entirely condescending towards me for absolutely no reason. I didn't even know how to react so I just stood there kinda shocked because I didn't understand why he was being to unnecessarily rude. After I finally got my food and went to leave I noticed the customer he was helping before me had waited on me (even though his food was done before mine) and opened the door for me as I left. I don't know if the man behind the counter was misogynistic but it gave off that vibe. As a woman I felt very uncomfortable and will not be going back to this tandoor and tikka (unless I know he isn't working there any longer) but I felt I should put this out there for anyone who needs to see it. I would give no stars if I could. Would be nice if they were more careful about choosing staff.

On my way to work one evening, I ordered a rice bowl with masala lamb and saag (spinach). It was very tasty, not too spicy.

From the pictures, you would think fresh ingredients and appetizing stuff. Guy came out from the back and stuff was picked "Subway" style. Rice, choice of protein, vats of sauce. Picked over, wilted vegetables. I got tandoor chicken with tikka masala sauce. I added cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, and cilantro. I also got naan and chicken samosas. When he got the samosas from the warmer, he got a small paper bag to put them in. He BLEW ON IT TO OPEN IT. I got my order to go. Back at my office, I tossed the samosas. The chicken and sauce had no flavor. The cucumbers were squishy. The lemonade was solid, though. It's an hour later and all I have is hunger and the smell of onions on my hands.

This place incredibly was able to check ALL of the boxes to join my worst 3 restaurant experiences of all time. This was our first time trying it, mainly because driving to our usual Indian spot seemed too far after a busy day.Order: placed online via DoorDash for pickup - not the worst site ever and not the T&T's design obviously, so that's a pass. Of course, I prepaid a tip as well because times are tough in customer serviceland. "Order received" and estimate for pick-up was 11-14 minutes. Naturally, we gave the nice folks a little extra time and allowed 20 minutes.Arrival: Went into T&T to grab order. Greeted by angry older Indian gentleman who yelled that he had just gotten the order and hadn't made it yet. There were 2 other people eating and no other apparent activity in the store. Ok...went back outside to wait.Pickup: Went back in 15 minutes later. Prepaid order was just getting ready and checked the order. Items were missing, which he proceeded to argue had not been ordered, raising his voice to actually yell and accuse me of lying. I asked that he look at the order information, and he then pretended like what I said had been missing had been there the whole time. Ok, he's the problem, but hopefully the food will make up for it. Left with all order components.Dining: Food was right in line with the rest of the experience. The paneer and chicken had been cooked ages ago - both were desiccated, and the chicken tasted old like something from a few days before. There was only a skim of sauce/protein on a bucket of dry old rice. The "naan pizza" which was nearly $10 was barely larger than my palm and again had spray-on toppings and was missing one of the toppings that I'd paid extra for. The extra naan ordered had more grease puddles than a pepperoni pizza - we poured them off AND had to sponge off with a napkin. So, now after a $38.39 "dinner", the frozen pizza's nearly done and I'm sure will be 1000x better. I am absolutely impressed by how badly this restaurant did with every single component of the experience. Impressive, T&T.Never. Again. Any option is better.

This is my new go to love Indian food but don’t have time to sit and order. I always get the bowls with rice your choice of meat I get the lamb curry and chicken together sauce and veggies.

The food is delicious! Authentic Indian food at a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere. Will most definitely make this a new normal for us.

This place is a little different but the 3 of us enjoyed our food. My only complaint was my food was cold. The Naan pizza looks really good probably try that next time. Their Naan bread was delicious.

This is the worst Indian food I have ever ordered in my life. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, vegetable samosas, and naan. They got the order wrong and gave me half chicken samosas. The tikka masala tasted like ketchup over chalk-dry chicken breast, the rice was greasy and tasteless, and the samosas were inedible (a first in my experience). The only edible part of the meal was the naan, which was delicious.

This is one of my favorite places in the world. The food is delicious and there are many ways to combine it. They have really cool seats, too. When I returned today, there was a beautiful movie form India playing on the TV, and it made the time fly by until my breakfast was ready.
