We had a party of 16, and the Taxman staff handled our great beautifully and respectfully. Outstanding food and service at this location - give it 5 stars!!
Always enjoy the food and drinks at taxman. Not the cheapest restaurant out there, but the quality is good.
We sat outside, it was a beautiful day, the food was awesome. Bevvies were great and our server (Sophia)was so fun and attentive. We really enjoyed our experience
Food was just meh. Burgers were overcooked and very dry. Smoked Gouda burger was listed as having aioli and fig jam, but barely any of either made for a very bland burger. Fries are great cooked in tallow. Had a good sour beer; good selection of beer and bourbon. Overall, disappointing based on rec we had from a friend. Wouldn't return on next Indy trip.
My friend and I came before the Adam Sandler show. We understand there was a busy rush right before, but my friends food came out cold. She ordered a 2nd drink and ended up having to cancel it, because it was taking too long to come out. The fries I got were like the little bits at the bottom of the basket. Our server was great and apologetic. We love coming there and the food it always good, but we were disappointed in this experience.
We enjoyed great drinks and food before the Adam Sandler concert at Gainbridge on Monday night. Our server was very attentive to our needs since we were under a time schedule to be at the comedy show. Our server gave us great suggestions on seasonal beers that were on tap.
Came at 4. Tons of unreserved seats in outside area. We were the first to arrive. Hostess would not seat us away from a speaker. Told her I have a hearing disability. She didn’t care. In fact she seemed bothered. No simple accommodation for a disability. We left.

Our past experiences at this Indianapolis establishment were highly favorable, particularly due to their commitment to locally-sourced ingredients, resulting in fresh and flavorful dishes. The pork chop and smash burgers were notable favorites. During our recent visit, however, we encountered a limited menu comprised entirely of fried items, and the overall quality of the food was below expectations. Furthermore, we observed a group of six servers occupied with their phones at the bar. I will say our server was great and was attentive to our table. We are optimistic that future visits

The live music by Jaxson Deno was great! Our server, Niki, was so attentive and had good recommendations for it only being her first week! Will be back for sure!

Nicole was a great representative and server. Best tenderloin ever, really. Moon drops vodka, equally as pure!

I had an overall enjoyable experience. The food was flavorful and well prepared, and the beer selection was excellent. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere inviting. The only downside was being seated in direct sunlight, which became uncomfortable after a while. A shaded spot or indoor seating would have made the visit even better.

This place is dangerous!!! I tried not to eat too much, so I could walk around town without being too full. But I nearly licked my plate clean! Then I didn't get to try any other breweries because I had a copious amount of 8 0z pours of everything under the sun 🤤 so much so that I got a to go bag of like 45 beers even though I was walking around town, taking a greyhound bus, hands already full. $136 tab by myself, and I am not upset about it! Sob the taxman gets me again 🔥🔥🔥

Taxman is my go-to spot for a weekly night out—it never disappoints. The burgers are excellent, perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the beer selection is just as impressive, with a wide range of brews to choose from. The menu is full of clever humor, especially in the beer names, which adds a fun and unique touch. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the staff is outstanding—always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, especially with regulars. A great place to enjoy good food, great beer, and even better company.
