This is our first time here in probably over 10 years. We were nearby and our ‘starrrrving’ kids were craving a burger so we decided to try Ted’s out for a change of pace. We enjoyed the restaurant with how it’s decorated, and the kids got a kick out of the map printed on the paper table cloth laid down. Our server seemed nice and wrote down our order as we went through our 4 cheese burger order. When our orders came out, my wife’s and my food came out correctly but our kids were both served the wrong entrees. A server came back in a couple of minutes later to see if they wanted to just get their sides now while they wait on the kids cheese burgers to be made. Yes, great idea! My son’s potato came with the wrong toppings after we joked with the waitress while ordering he would basically love everything on the potato but sour cream, but it came out with it anyways. Whatever, the kids were super hungry so I just scooped it off for him. The fries came out on a plate for my daughter so that worked for her. My burger had an aioli and jalapeños and my wife’s had weird (for them) stuff too so they were not willing to share ours during the wait. The kids burgers took quite a long while to come out considering it was for a mess up…it seemed like the ticket got placed in a normal make order with the rest instead of being made expedited. The kids burgers took over 10 minutes to come out, maybe closer to 15. One of their burgers should have been plain but came with pickles, the other kids’ was missing the mustard. They were so hungry by now they just ate them. We let our server know they were wrong too but they were too hungry to wait for another trip back to the kitchen. My burger tasted great, so did my wife’s so that was good, and the best thing about our experience there. But then the bill came and our waitress said she went ahead and removed the charges for the steaks off the bill. I thought she meant their kids meals but after she left I reviewed the bill in more detail and saw the wrong items, kids steaks, were on the bill then discounted off. We still had the full price charged to us for both of the kids meals and our 2 burgers as well! The waitress came back by and I asked if I’m understanding this correctly that I was billed for something I didn’t order, it was ‘discounted off’ then billed normally for the rest of our order?! She said yes that’s what they can do for us tonight. Wow, thanks for that!! Sure seemed like either adding a discount to our order or taking off the kids meals would have been warranted, but not the case this time. She later asked about how our experience was with everything and I went over again that bill again and how I thought it was crazy that our discount was just removing a charge for something we didn’t order. Then I went over how the kids burgers came out wrongly topped after coming out incorrect to begin with, and his baked potato didn’t get the right stuff on it too. She apologized and said she was new there. We were there for an hour and a half overall I’d say maybe a bit longer for 4 burgers, no appetizers no deserts. Sorry to say, we’ll not be returning here.

This was out first time having bison steaks. They're were nicely prepared and flavorful. The onion rings were really good. The broccoli was good and not over done. We had the seasonal apple crisp for desert. It was tasty and big chunks of apple. It came with vanilla icecream. I think it would have even better with French vanilla icecream.

Gone are the Ted’s of my youth, the bison brisket was 1/2 fat and gristle, all cleverly hidden by the gravy. The sides were good. The server kept my drink filled, but never inquired about the meal. Then just dropped off the check without any follow up on dessert.
Over $35 for less meat than a whopper at Burger King.

I love all the different bison options they have. From steaks and burgers to ribs and meatloaf. You could also just enjoy a few of the bison sliders. The beef options are delicious as well. Drinks and desserts are fantastic. 😋👍

I live out of the City and have been to this eating establishment four times now.
The bison steaks are phenomenal. My steak jas always been perfectly cooked to order. The seasoning spot in, neither too heavy or lacking in additional flavor. I brought the chef that cooked our order and gave him props and kudos for his skill. Just as this was his first day as a team leader for the restaurant. Based on his food and demeanor he deserves every bit of his newly earned position.
In addition to the steak, I had garlic mashed potatoes and charred brussel sprouts which were hot and ready to be devoured. Again perfect sessoned and cooked to exacting standards.
The waitress was kind, friendly, helpful in ensuring we ordered something great. Her service was highly efficient and delightful. A true pleasure that is so unusual for today's always in a hurry to get you back back out of the door.
A wonderful dining experience I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants an upscale meal that is properly prepared.

Had to go for the onion rings with horseradish sauce and get a bison burger. Food was on par and so was the service. Beginning of dinner shift so it was quiet and food came quickly.
We always experience great service at Ted's. The grilled shrimp appetizer is simple and delicious. The Avalon burger is my favorite. Parmesan roasted broccoli is delicious too.

Bison Nachos were good!! Side salad was ok & but the blue cheese dressing seemed very thin-watered down. My NY Strip steak had a lot of gristle in it but cooked the way I asked for it (med rare). Hubby requested his bison NY Strip medium & it was on the rare side-still bloody but he ate it. Server was nice but had a large table to manage so we kind of felt a bit neglected but understandable. Took quite some time to get our check & pay.

This place was absolutely amazing and quiete possible taking number one for where me and my girlfriend have ever been to from the quality and quickness of the staff and food came out too such a great quality and Lance was the best waiter we have ever had. We had talked to a couple of other staff as well that came up while we were talking to Lance and even the manager came over and had a couple of laughs with us for a birthday experience definitely amazing and fun environment highly recommend trying this place and I will definitely be coming back
