Got there 30 minutes before they were supposed to close, would have been our first visit there but we were turned away because they wanted to close inside early to clean. Kept the drive thru open, but having never been there, we didn't want to try something sight unseen. Disappointing and unprofessional to say the least. If your hours say 9, your whole business should reflect that.

I don’t know when it started, but my wife and I started taking our children TeeJay’s on Friday after school to celebrate the end of the week. It’s easily our favorite ice cream shop in Indianapolis. Great selection that is updated all the time and the very best service.

Everything tasted great ! The cookie Sunday was warm and delicious . Our son got a KitKat shake and our daughter got a cone with cotton candy surrounding it with cookie dough ice cream . The staff were very kind too !

Ice cream is fire!!! Kids are pleasant.. but the owner allowed her family members behind the counter in street clothes, sampling ice cream behind the counter... That's nasty. The ladies were loud and keep going back and forth behind the counter... just not a good look.

Tons of great reviews may be a bit misleading. Walked in on a Saturday night and the place was welcoming enough. Sprinkles wallpaper and people sitting inside playing checkers. Workers were relatively attentive (as much as high schoolers are) and the price isn't too bad either. The whole ambiance seemed thrown together, and the smell of the place did not go unnoticed (it wasn't pleasant). Got two scoops and a brownie sundae. Nothing to write home about but not too shabby either. Bit on the pricey side for what it was., but their specialties seemed more worth it.
