We didn't get seated until 30 mins after our reservation. Service was slow. Steaks were brought out 3x, twice before we received our app and salads. 3rd time the steaks were overdone or raw and all cold. Mgr tried to make it right with some discounts and free dessert but it was a long and disappointing night.

What a lovely evening to celebrate a birthday. Capital Grille is top notch. All staff seemed truly engaged, pleasant, and kept careful watch over the needs of diners. Got the appointment last minute for my friend's birthday, she had a blast! Our waiter Marko was amazing and I forgot to take the picture of the food but it was big portions 🙂↕️and delicious, no one complained👌🏾

We celebrated my Birthday with a delightful dining experience. The food was scrumptious from first bite to last. The Sea bass melted in your mouth and the rib eye steak was prepared perfectly. Special touches of a red rose at the beginning of my dinner to the delicious Happy Birthday dessert plate complete with a framed photo finished the evening.

Weird experience. Asked for a table was told only bar seating available. Sat down and made a reservation for a regular table via OpenTable. Moved us to a regular table - took a long time for any service. Waiter who did come was fine, but drinks took 15 minutes on a Wednesday night, not full restaurant. Salad appetizer was over coated with dressing. Bread was rather hard. It was not your typical Capital Grille experience, let's leave it at that.

Husband enjoyed his squash soup. I had the french onion-not much flavor and cheese needed to be cooked longer and make it crusty on top. I had the special which was a crab and shrimp sandwich...again very bland. My husband had a steak that was definitely not the ounces it said on the menu. First one was overcooked and they quickly replaced it for one cooked perfectly but not much flavor. The bread was hot and crispy. Husband had the field green salad and did not care for the dressing... again no flavor. Service was amazing! And the hostess stand gals were very nice and congenial. It will be a while before we go back.

For us, The Capital Grille has always been leader in food quality and service, which were excellent this visit. However, high prices continue to further separate the ultra rich from the rest of us. Please we need to level the playing (a.k.a. eating) field by controlling costs.
