I ate at several steak houses this past week while at a print conference here in town and I choose this place as the one that I will rave about! The atmosphere is very deluxe feeling and the people were so very nice and accommodating but the food was spectacular and so much better than the other place which will go remain unnamed.The house made lobster bisque was literally the best I have ever had with plentiful chunks of lobster in a very richly made creamy and flavourful base. The oysters were as fresh as they come with fresh ground horse radish.When I could not decide between the tenderloin and lobster and the double cut lamb chops, I asked our waiter Carter (who by the way was fantastic and I would highly recommend that you ask for him) which of the two dishes I would be the most sad that I missed, he recommended immediately without hesitation the lamb chops. And I’m here to tell you what, they were spectacular! I had mine cooked to order at medium and they were perfect and delicious.I finished my meal off with the coconut cream pie which was truly out of this world excellent!We pretty much rolled out of there in the most delightful food coma I’ve ever been in!Thank you Carter and the Capital Grille for a most wonderful and memorable meal!
Capital Grille is one of my fav restaurants across the country. This location is no exception. The crab cakes are always excellent. And my go to cocktail stoli doli is always amazing. Most of my family had a steak of some sort and everyone was pleased. The service here is always top notch. This is a great date spot but also family friendly if you want to treat your kids and they appreciate non kids menu dining.

My husband and I came to Indy for a night away and to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We order the crab cake appetizer and a cup of the lobster bisque. Those were both Fantastic. I ordered the sliced filet with mushrooms, and my husband got the Kona crusted bone on dry aged NY Strip. We got three sides because we wanted to try a little bit of everything. We got the Brussel sprouts, augratin potatoes and the lobster mac n cheese. The food was absolutely FANTASTIC! We like to dine at nice restaurants and this was hands down THE BEST WE HAVE HAD!! Thank you to the chef and kitchen staff for doing an amazing job.The service and staff were all very sweet and attentive, but our waiter Monty was hands down the greatest! We asked him for food recommendations and he gave us his honest opinion and we listened and order the things he suggested and it was literally fantastic. He was very attentive, very knowledgeable and just did an absolute fantastic job. Thank you Monty for being amazing and doing such a great job.

We had the perfect romantic dinner for two at The Capital Grille. Our server was amazing! He gave us food and drink recommendations that didn't disappoint. Every bite of food from the appetizer, to the entree, and to the dessert were perfectly cooked and delicious. We are looking forward to our next visit there.

We had a great dinner at The Capital Grille Saturday evening. Carter was our waiter and he took very good care of us. I'm always amazed at how well he knows the details about each dish and can rattle off the specials as if it were the chef explaining the dish to us. With all the special events in downtown Indianapolis this weekend, the energy and vibe of the restaurant was excellent.
We always enjoy our 2 or 3 times a year we visit Capital Grille in Indianapolis, but this year for the first time ever we felt rushed through dinner. We respect time and the fact that table must turn but more than ever we seemed to moved toward the end of our visit much faster than previously.
Had an absolutely amazing anniversary dinner. The table was set up and ready with an anniversary note. The staff was delightful the entire evening. They also provided us An amazing dessert for our special night on the house. Would definitely recommend for any anniversaries.

Timothy was wonderful. My wife and I had a great dinner for our anniversary and he was phenomenal. Steaks both filets we're cooked to perfection. The wine was amazing and our food and service was exactly what I would expect from capital grille. We got a few bottles of wine it was over $350Thank you for the wonderful experience

Amazing hospitality was shown to us. Our waiter, I think his name was Freddy ( I might be wrong about the name ) was amazing , so kind and friendly. Our water was always filled to the top and anything we needed was taken care of. Outstanding servers , would definitely recommend! The steaks were cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and macaroni were good. The cheesecake was my favorite part , absolutely wonderful.
