The District Tap-Downtown Indianapolis is a spectacular Sports pub that serves excellent appetizers (Nachos, Calamari, Chicken Wings, Lunch/Dinner options (Hamburgers, etc), and wonderful drink options (adult beverages, soda/pop, etc) to their sports going public. The District Tap Downtown Indianapolis does an excellent job on major sports days like the NCAA Men/Woman's Basketball Tournament, Big 10 Football Championship game, and Indianapolis Colts/Pacers games. The District Tap Downtown Indianapolis is a SportsPub I highly recommend to everyone!

Absolutely unacceptable service. The waitress was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional from the moment we interacted. I asked a simple question about a burger with impossible name just to confirm whether it had meat or not. She answered, but that was NOT the burger I ordered. I clearly ordered a different one and specifically requested no pickles and no onions.
After a long wait, they brought me the wrong burger. When I told another staff member it wasn’t what I ordered, he took it back. Instead of fixing the mistake, the waitress came back and rudely confronted me, insisting that I had ordered that burger and that I was wrong. She spoke to me in a very disrespectful and dismissive way.
Being rude, arguing with customers, and refusing to take responsibility for mistakes is unacceptable—especially in the service industry. This experience completely ruined my visit. I will never return to this restaurant because of the horrible customer service. Someone with this attitude should not be working with customers at all.

Food was subpar compared to the premium price point. Choriqueso had literally no chorizo it was just some nasty cheese concoction. Food tastes similar to box food. 🤦♂️ we got sat next to some door that kept opening and letting in freezing cold air. Ruining any and all desire to stay. Server Haley asked if we were going to tip? The suggested tips are based of the total check amount after taxes.

I debated whether or not I would leave a review for this restaurant, but ultimately decided after speaking with a friend and the SAME THING happened to him, I’d be wrong if I didn’t. My girlfriend and I decided to eat here after a pacer game. Unfortunately my girlfriend’s food had little black bugs on it. By far the most disgusting thing I’ve encountered in awhile. I couldn’t even finish my food with the thought that they’re probably in my food as well. My stomach felt weird for atleast 6 weeks after eating the food. I will NEVER be back due to that. I will say the owner took her food off the bill. Not my food, just my girlfriends. I’m sure if I made a big enough fuss about it, they probably would’ve taken mine off too, but tbh I was just disgusted 🤮 and wanted to leave .

My husband and I went here before a Bulls/Pacers game. It is a great location since it is just a couple limited walk from away. We did spot hero and found a garage a block away. Food was good, I had the filet sliders with sweet potato fries and my husband had the smash burger with regular fries. The waitress was attentive and even offer drinks to go. Food came out really fast. I only gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was very loud. Otherwise, a great place to eat.
Great sports bar! We wanted to find a place to watch Thursday night football and grab some drinks. Good bar food and large drink selection. Best part is that prices are affordable and it was a great atmosphere!

Struggling to find anything open, downtown so we came across The District Tap. It took ages to get the attention of the hostess, even though there were very few people in the place at the time. We finally got seated in a nice booth, and from then on, things were great. Our server was really good and the food was quite nice. There wasn't a ton of atmosphere, but that could just be because it was so quiet. Overall, good food and friendly service. A safe enough bet.
