Went for dinner one night and had some issues with our experience but the manager Robbi did an exceptional job of making things right for our group. Definitely will return

The sides, despite how generous in size, were priced well and delicious. We tried the sweet potato crock and cole slaw and both were very good iterations of their respective recipes. The appetizers seem priced a little expensive for how small they are. We tried the hush puppies and if they offered more pieces, we'd definitely order again. The mainstay of this restaurant is the fried chicken. For the price, the portions are fair and available in dark meat, white meat, and chicken half variants. To be honest, the breading was a little disappointing. It was a bit overcooked and browned instead of the gold you would expect from a crispy piece of chicken. Maybe the staff was having an off day.The restaurant smelled like a very clean Brothers Bar and Grill, which is to say there's probably a heavy drinking crowd at night. I would still go again, but only in the day.The waiter was very helpful, knew the menu inside and out, and attentive. The restaurant itself looks like it was AI-generated so you can tell it's some corporate franchise but otherwise it's a cute spot. If you have a picky eater to deal with, this is a good restaurant to choose.

Amazing food! The fried chicken is amazing with the hot honey. We also loved the spoonbread, pimento cheese tray, and mashed potatoes. We made reservations, which was super helpful, they were pretty busy even at lunchtime.

I stopped by The Eagle tonight to get food and a couple cocktails. Olivia S. was an amazing waitress. She was on top of everything. I would personally highly recommend her as your waitress. I will be asking for her again. She made the experience worth it.

We dined here while in town for the basketball tournament, and I am very happy we did! Everything was terrific--food, beer, and service. Three of us split a whole friend chicken, horseradish mashed potatoes, collards, hush puppies, and pickled green beans. We were quite happy with everything! The beer selection is excellent, with plenty of local options.Honestly, I had no idea this was a chain until after we left. It has a very local feel to it, and I will happily return.

Great chicken. Good pricing.Fried chicken good. Perfectly cooked, tasty, tender, crispy. The honey and Tobasco sauce is simple and good. Nothing out of this world, but it doesn’t need to be since the chicken is great on its own. But one of the drumsticks was absolutely tiny.Fries and aioli are exactly how you’d expect. Good.Mac and cheese is good.Coleslaw, I didn’t really enjoy. And a little too sour.Chicken sandwich was a 5/10. Chicken was only verrrry slightly warm. Felt and tasted as if left out for some time. Other ingredients were great though, especially the toast. I plan on air frying the other half as that would make it good.Service was good and food came out surprisingly fast. Explains the chicken sandwich.Pricing is not bad at all.Overall: 6.99/10

I visit The Eagle frequently but today I was very disappointed! I ordered the 1/4 chicken dark that comes with 2 legs and a thigh. The leg was smaller than a drumette, and the thigh wasn't much bigger. (I wish I had taken a picture before I sent them back.) Their replacement was only a tad bigger. Our server, Wolfgang, disappeared after bringing the replacement chicken only to reappear with the check. When asked for 2 cokes to go (because he wasn't around for refills), I was told they didn't have to go cups. I guess I paid $6 for 2 drinks, mostly ice. I'll think twice before dining again at The Eagle. Just not worth the $50 we spent. (I rated them a 4.5 a couple of years ago, so I'm not usually a complainer but Beware!)
