Terrible service. We went for New Years Eve and they didn't even have the countdown playing on the TV. Luckily we rushed out and made it down the street to 16-bit just in time. Have tried this place multiple times and despite giving them multiple chances, it's always the same experience.

Apparently following an unsuccessful career after the Mighty Ducks, Fulton Reed decided to try to pick up some cash working at this bar with the worst attitude possible. I can say this gentlemen with a half ponytail is probably the worst bartender I have ever experienced, terrible drinks, terrible attitude, I can confirm all the previous negative reviews regarding rude staffing. I will never recommend this place to fellow Hoosiers.

Planned to have a great time, celebrating my buddy’s 50th birthday. Management decided turned us away before 9pm because they felt a dusting of snow was justification for shutting down and turning down a party of 12 people. No worries, Ball in a Biscuit was happy to take our business.

Went for the speakeasy but it wasn’t open yet. Our server was nice enough to show us around anyway. Cool place. The drinks were great as well.

Went for the first time on a Wednesday night with a few friends. This place has a great atmosphere(big windows upstairs, soft lighting, comfy chairs). The drinks were unique, tasty, and presented with flare(mine came in a flask I could pour myself, and a friend's drink came smoked in a glass cloche dome). It's a classy but not stuffy bar, and I can't wait to take my wife the next time I go. For Indy, it's top notch!

This is one of my all-time favorite spots in downtown Indy. However during tonight’s visit I was really disappointed with how our service ended. We were greeted and had our order taken super quickly, but it took us almost 30 minutes to get the check and cash out. Our server didn’t attempt to check on us toward the end of our second round of drinks and didn’t make eye contact. She then went downstairs and didn’t come back for quite some time, but when she finally returned and dropped the check, we waited patiently for nearly 10 minutes. We finally had to track down another server to cash us out after ten minutes (see receipts) since our server was talking to what looked like friends. It was also not busy at this point. Lastly, she never checked on us again or said thanks. Just really disappointing as we love this place and are disappointed of the treatment since we also suggest this place to others and it’s not a cheap cocktail bar. Work on your customer service please 🙏

Excellent cocktails, very friendly bartenders. I believe there is indeed two bars, one up one down, one bartender with very big muscles and very tight pants known as the dungeon master. Perfect for a date, at your own risk. The bar, not the dungeon master, but maybe.

Absolutely an amazing place for a date night, social gathering and to meet great people. Alexa was amazing serving my group downstairs. Our drinks were never empty, great taste, beautiful personality and great prices. A must visit when on Mass Ave!!!!!!!!!! Definitely my new favorite spot

Nice cozy place in the busy mass ave street, great collection of whiskey from all around the place, i was surprised to see indian whiskey also making it on the menu, was a humbling experience, well we went there on a Monday, loved the decor of this place, and the vibe, tables were correctly placed giving each some privacy to delve in their own conversations, service was good and timed well and attentive ( maybe it being a Monday)

Couple of improvements i would suggest is starting with a bowl of crackers or nuts to start the first drink and try the awesome whiskey or cocktails and then take time to order food, the experience of ordering food and drinks at the same time usually doesn’t happen at a concept whisky bars which this place was giving the vibe saying we know we got what you need.

More food choices for appetisers or bites between the occasional sips.

Staff should be more conversational to a point to atleast attend to what they are in the mood for or what do they have in mind. I don’t blame them, but its definitely an improvement they can easily fix with some coaching, the place does give me a great vibe. Drinks were a bit overpriced, although they had a great enticing happy hour pricing, but I’m happy with a scotch and dont usually go for cocktails, and i was genuinely happy with the options in scotch.
