The Flying Cupcake

This is a super cute cupcake shop located in downtown Indy! This was my first time stopping in and I was impressed. I visited around 130 pm so parking was not an issue. This is always my concern when shopping downtown. The interior decor is bright & welcoming. The young lady who assisted me was fast & super friendly. I bought 2 red velvet cupcakes that looked moist & delicious. These are a gift for my daughter's 33rd birthday so I'll update once she tries them. By the way they smelled on the way home. Im certain she'll love them & we'll both be back.

I normally LOVE the cupcakes but the last 2 cupcakes I’ve had were terribly stale. Also when we asked the young lady working what her favorite cupcake was she informed us she didn’t like cupcakes ….. have to say not a great experience

A cute, small place that had a nice selection of cupcakes. We tried the Dole whip pineapple and the lemon raspberry swirl, both of which were tasty.

Ordered a lady godiva heart cake, 12 jumbo cupcakes, and a half sheet marble cake for my daughters 18th bday. It was all amazing and the decoration detail was out of this world. Long time customer, will definitely return!

My favorite cupcakes in the world! They are absolutely delicious!! So good u wanna lick the box clean too! My only complaint is for the price you pay for them they should be packaged a little better. It would have been nice to have a package that fit six. They might have transported better on my 3 hour drive. They were in a huge box with paper rolled up next to them.

My friend bought me some gluten-free cupcakes from here yesterday when she picked up an order for a party. The regular cupcakes looked amazing, the icing was smooth and not hard to the touch. My gluten-free cupcakes were as hard as a rock, both the frosting and the actual cupcake. I could barely get a fork into the cupcake because it was so hard. I could even pick up the cupcakes by just the frosting, so again that tells you they weren’t fresh at all. The texture was also extremely grainy and it was tough to chew and swallow. The vanilla cupcake legitimately just tastes like corn bread.

I would rather a business say that they don’t have gluten-free options than to offer such horrible options at such a high price. These were very obviously baked several days ago by the state of the icing and the cupcake and again, sold for full price.

Had an amazing cupcake and giant sugar cookie! Highly recommend!

I ordered their gluten-free cupcakes for my coworker's birthday and they looked amazing, the employees were incredibly nice, and the establishment was so cozy and adorable. Of course, my co-worker LOVED the cupcakes!
It's so difficult to find a good bakery for someone with dietary restrictions, so I'm thrilled to have found The Flying Cupcake!

First of all the cake was amazing and very moist. All my guests wanted seconds and couldn’t stop asking where I got the cake from. Very delicious. I also put my order in the day before I needed it. That was the kicker. Thanks so much flying cupcake at this location for the beautiful delicious cake and allowing orders to be placed last minute.

Many cupcake places have dry cake. Theirs is DELISH. Moist and great flavors. The strawberry in particular was a fresh genuine strawberry flavor rather than artificial. We tried the chocolate birthday, strawberry, pumpkin, vanilla, and salted caramel and all were DELISH. Highly recommend.

A cute little cupcake shop. Lots of options to choose from. Nanny of them with fun themes! Overall, they were really good! Just a lot of frosting! Seating is limited.
