They have the best chicken fingers in the city and maybe the world.

I had my littles with me and e en though this is mainly a bar, we sat in the family section. The waitress was phenomenal! She was sweet and kind and accommodating. The food was delicious. The owner stopped my and even the cook was friendly and stopped by. Great experience! The menu options below are not the same as our choices were.

My first time, and I wasn't that impressed. I thought I would be more excited by bourbon ham but it was just cold deli ham on grocery store bread and not a very substantial serving either. And most of the ham was only on half my sandwich. Horseradish French onion dip with Ruffles potato chips for $5? Nah. Pea salad could have been better if the peas weren't so hard. And if you're going to serve me Diet Coke in a can and charge me $2.75 then at least have Coke Zero. Had to laugh when another person whose side of apple sauce was in one of those kiddie cups you see in school cafeterias. I guess I see the charm if you live nearby and are out walking your dog and want to sit out on the patio and have a beer. I'd give it another try and maybe get the burger that one person in our party got. It didn't look bad.

The home made potato soup with the baked croutons and cheese on top was the best ive ever had. You don't have to dress up to go here, just show up in what your wearing and have a drink.. small town vibes in the middle of a big city, my new favorite bar in Indy ❣️ A little piece of Indy history.

The menu has changed and my food was served a little on the cold side. Also, the seating area was ice cold and everytime someone opened the door the cold air filled the room.

If you've never been here then go. Great food and a cool and cozy atmosphere. If you're a ham person then this is a bonus for you. This place is known for their tender and flavorful hams, sandwiches etc!
