I ordered the 16oz steak - well done with garlic potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. It's was simply amazing. Not over cooked or over seasoned. Perfection! I definitely will be ordering again! 😍👏

Was quiet. Very nice downtown location inside the Indy hotel. Food was very good. Had the subtle hint of wood smoke on the meat that was indicative of the name Fire. Both desserts were exceptional.

On the positive side, this new restaurant has a spacious and modern atmosphere and our guests praised the steaks, pastas and salmon. The service was friendly but inattentive and sluggish. We were seated quickly with menus, but nobody came to take a drink or appetizer order for 10 minutes till we waived someone down. Appetizers arrived and were delicious, but no plates and utensils were cleared. Main courses took 45 minutes to arrive, even though the restaurant was not busy. Fortunately, everyone enjoyed their main courses.

We chose this restaurant primarily because it was listed on Resy and AMEX was offering a $100 dining credit. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.

The food was overpriced and underwhelming—neither flavorful nor served hot. Service was equally disappointing. Our waiter wore a jacket, sunglasses, and a ball cap, and barely interacted with us beyond asking, “Are you ready to order?” There was no greeting, no check-in during the meal, and no sense of hospitality.

The one bright spot was the bartender, Rob, who was friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. He stood out in contrast to the rest of the experience.

To top it off, they didn’t allow payment through the app, which meant I couldn’t use my AMEX credit as intended.

Overall, we won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

Just hosted a luncheon event for 100 people and were served so well by Alec and Tony and the great staff at Fire. What a delightful time! Wonderful food and excellent, helpful service. We'll be back!

Not a new customer, but today was not a good day I guess. Waited to be sat for about 5 minutes, eventually got seated by a young male waiter. I Sat down unattended to for 25 minutes. I know this because my street Parking timer showed approximately 30 minutes?
Maybe on weekends, don’t leave a young waiter by himself. I decided to walk out when I saw him taking the order of a couple who walked in almost 20 minutes after I did.

Hello there. The food was delicious. Crispy chicken was juicy and savory. They really knew how to cook.
But 4 stars are given in advance, since they recently opened. The service was not so great but they were able to negotiate mistakes easily, that made a good impression.
Nice and clean area, a lot of space and comfortable accommodation.

I made a reservation and showed up at the scheduled time but the restaurant was closed for a private party.

We made reservations here for Mothers Day Brunch. We didn't realize it was going to be buffet style. :( We also didn't realize it was going to be $50 A PERSON!!? :( x10!
The atmosphere was nice and the service/staff were very friendly. However; the food was just 'okay.' Compared to most hotel breakfast buffets, they offered a nice selection and the food was better. But none of the food was worth $50 a person; also coffee and tea not included!! Had we known we were going to spend that much for the 5 of us, we wouldn't have bothered driving all the way downtown, paying for parking and getting just 'okay' buffet food.

e booked our reservations for The Hulman through OpenTable for a Mother's Day brunch. One of the selling points for The Hulman was the bouquet making that was offered as part of tue Mother's Day experience that we reserved. The cost was $45/adult and $20/child which included a breakfast buffet and the bouquet making experience. We arrived and made our way through the hotel to the restaurant's hots stand. We gave our name for reservations and were sat. Upon being sat, we were immediately told that the buffet was $50/person. I asked even for children, since we were dining with our children, and she stated she thought it was $25/child, although our son is only two. We were asked if we'd like anything to drink besides water but didn't have any menus to see drink options, so waited until we had a menu to decide. My husband and I both ordered Prosecco, then we proceeded to the buffet to make our plates. Our drinks arrived almost immediately after we sat down, and within minutes of starting in our plates, our server brought out our check. We hadn't even been in the restaurant for 15 minutes. We saw on the check we had been charged $50/adult and $25 for both of our children, even the two year old, but knew we would address the discrepancy once ready to settle our bill. Halfway through our meal, our server came again and asked if we were ready to settle our bill. Our reservation began at 11am, check initially dropped at 11:12, and asked if we were ready to check out, with plates and drinks still full at 11:34. When we were finally finished with our meal, we then had to flag our server down to get the bill to match the reservations that we had set. We didn't have an issue with them fixing the billing but when it came time to do the bouquets, we also had to ask them wait around for whoever was in charge of that experience. This was our first and will be our only dining experience with The Hulman. It felt rushed, and chaotic instead of light and easy.

Really good food and great service! I'm looking forward to our next visit and trying more of the menu! I can't say enough about the Chef and the staff with their hospitality and prompt service.
