They don't return phone calls, and not there when they're supposed to be. The director does not return phone calls either, totally frustrating.

It's one oldest houses on Delaware St. It's a event place for weddings, meetings and holiday private parties. The house was built 1890. It's a baroque 19th century exterior and interior. It's a Downton Abbey in Indy kind of home.

Truly enjoyable evening! Love supporting local artists and the Propyleum in it's efforts to preserve this amazing property on the National Register of Historic Places. A little gem of Indiana history, women's rights and the Old Northside neighborhood.

A gorgeous venue in the heart of the Old Northside. Did you know you can: 1) Rent the entire house, for an occasion or event for up to 14 people? Rates are typically between $800-1000, for a more affordable and memorable experience than a generic hotel: 2) Enjoy a formal afternoon high tea, with those tiny cucumber sandwiches, delectable pastries, and a sampling of high-end teas? 3) Attend unique literary and cultural events? Join their email list to stay in the loop: 4) Tour the house, examining its crooks and crannies. Don't forget the impressive ballroom on the top floor. This location also has historical importance in the early feminist movement in Indianapolis. It continues to be a progressive literary and cultural hub.

Haven't been here in years but nonetheless it's a wonderful old victorian home with tons of history. This is a must see Indy!

We have gone to the Propylaeum for a couple porch concerts and it is so beautiful and welcoming. It's a wonderful place to send a Friday night relaxing, enjoying company with friends, and taking in the beauty of the historic Northside of Indianapolis.
