The Library Restaurant & Pub

We had a wonderful celebration dinner at The Library. The staff were very helpful and attentive, the food was fantastic, and the venue was perfect! Setting up the private dining room was simple. Could not recommend them more, and we will use this venue in the future! 10/10 would recommend!

During my road trip in late June, early July last year, when I arrived in Indianapolis, I decided to treat myself by going to this restaurant, after looking on Maps. I was not disappointed by the quality of the food, nor the quantity. Moreover, I had not noticed that the restaurant closed at 9 P.M. (restaurant close to the airport as well as hotels, in France, restaurants close later) while I had arrived at 8 P.M. well past, and I had asked for "Potato skins", "Chicken Parmigiana" and a brownie as well as a cocktail. I was supposed to be finished at 9:20 P.M. ... but the employees had not asked me to hurry. Belatedly, I apologize for having gone over the schedule. I don't know if you remember, that evening, a camper (or a caravan) had burned outside, near the bar ...

Pleasantly surprised. We made reservations not knowing if they would be busy or not, when we got there at 6pm on a Friday, there might have be 2 tables in the entire place occupied. EVERYTHING we ordered was AMAZING! We ordered French onion soup, stuffed Italian mushrooms, PRIME RIB, and stuffed Atlantic Salmon. Not one single complaint. We will be going back.

It has a very upscale atmosphere. Liked the portraits in the wall, reminded me of France. The food was very tasty. I will definitely come back.

Cool spot. Had the ribeye - too fatty, in a bad way. Should have been cooked at a higher temp, to achieve charring and melding of fat. Steak was still grill-marked, but just good (not GREAT).

Great restaurant. Great prime rib. Good well prepared food.

This place doesn’t look like a restaurant from the outside and when you first walk in, doesn’t look like a restaurant on the inside either. Long hallway, entryway and a big expansive dining room with tables.

Good server who let us take our time eating.
