Three of us visiting Indianapolis went here for dinner and had a very good meeting amidst a wonderful dinner. Our waiter Arturo was exceptional, polite, paid attention to us when we needed him, and showed us God's grace. His recommendations were great and we all left saying lets do this again.
Amazing food, our server was wonderful with explaining the menu options. The wine by the glass was also exceptional. We had a perfect dining experience.
Our server, Cory, was amazing. The food was delectable. The Oceanaire made our birthdays celebration memorable.
What can I say? This was not a restaurant, it was a dining experience. We had never been there before and went on a recommendation. We are glad we did. We were casually dressed an upon arrival it was apparent this was a high class place. That being said, we were greeted with enthusiasm and made to feel welcome. We were seated and were told Jay and Monica would be taking care of us for the evening. They both did an outstanding job. I started with their Oceanaire 2.0 cocktail that was delicious but a bit on the sweet side for my taste. My wife had a muscatto. Jay took some time explaining the menu to us and offered to customize anything to our liking. We started with a half dozen oyster on the half shell choosing three different origins. They were all delicious. I ordered a Chilean sea bass dynamite style which had a crab cake on top and their signature sauce. It was fantastic. My wife ordered their sampler plate with a lobster tail, shrimp and scallops. The shrimp were slightly over cooked but the meal as a whole was way above par. We did save room for dessert. We chose to split their flourless chocolate torte. Jay suggested we pair it with a port and we added a double espresso each. What an amazing combination. I have to admit, I am a certified coffee snob and when Jay told me their espresso was from a pod, I was skeptical. Truth of the matter is, it was delicious. An amazing dining experience topped off with jay's outstanding service and a memorable meal. Though on the pricy side I would go back. A beautiful evening.
Wonderful restaurant with a nice wine selection. Seafood and sauces were delicious. Highly recommend for those who want a nice, private dinner conversation.
Our party of 4 very much enjoyed our meals. Food was outstanding. Our "assistant" waiter was fantastic and a wonderful person, however we were very disappointed with our main waiter....a bit of arrogance and some not-so-friendly and abrupt encounters.
WOW! Oceanaire is a must. I was impressed from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. It was dimly lit and quiet (it did get louder around 8p as it got busier, but not enough to be a bad thing). Our server was absolutely fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and so fun! Our cocktails did not disappoint. And... the food!!!!! SOOO GOOD! I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to absolute perfection! My husband had the halibut and raw oysters and was beyond pleased. The desserts... simply amazing. I have nothing bad to say, we LOVED our experience and we will be back.
Have had an excellent experience every time I've been here. Such a treat! Decided to splurge with the seafood tower and it did not disappoint. Large portions and plenty for 3 of us to enjoy. The lobster bisque is to not be missed - so good. Sushi and salmon meals were also delicious. Service was fantastic! Already planning my next visit.
Niña was a wonderful waitress. She was well informed & super pleasant with which to interact. Delicious food & beautiful aesthetic.
Food made my wife and I very sick whether it was the baked Alaskan dessert not being prepared fully or the sea bass being underdone. To add the 151 rum is very strong in the Alaskan dessert as if the alcohol didn't burn out of it. Which if you want to steer away from alcohol I would not recommend this dessert due to its heavy flavor and side effects.

We went to celebrate my mom's birthday! The food and service was excellent as always! We love the baked Alaska dessert!
Truly one of my favorite restaurants, I was excited to see a location in Indy. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and had an amazing evening at Oceanaire to celebrate our Anniversary. Service and food were top notch!
Not that impressed. I chose the halibut and it was really dry, some of the worst halibut I have ever had. Overpriced and not really worth it.
Had a wonderful delicious dinner with my husband. Great service. Valet parking made it easy. No need to go into a garage. Highly recommend.
Some of the food was really good other.items not so much. For the money, there are better places to eat in downtown.
