Service was very slow, couldn't get refills on drinks. Seemed more concerned with carry out orders than dine in customers.

This is more Egyptian cuisine. It wasn't busy. I asked to sit close to the kitchen away from the door but the tables were not available. First time visit. Menu is pricey so that limits options. I got the spinach in philo dough called Spinakopita. It was hot and good. Spinach with feta. I got greek green beans which had extra sauce. The green beans were good. I got the eggplant with ground beef and vegetables called Beef Moussaka. It was okay. I would order another entree. It had white rice and more green beans. I prefer yellow rice with vegetables and seasoned. This is a family owned business not a corporate chain so you are supporting a family that lives in the area. The decor is pretty and artistic. The restaurant is a bit cold and drafty so bring a jacket in cooler weather. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. No active buffet they said. Cost is about $25-30 with water and tip.

I was very hungry and excited for gyros when I saw this place.Nice interior and smells wonderfulFood was disappointing and very lackluster.Gyro meat had good flavor, but was barely more than lukewarmGyro sandwich itself was small and pita was tough and chewy.Salad that came with the gyro was lettuce and a few pieces of tomato, with no dressing.Tzatziki sauce was good enough but made with sour cream instead of proper yogurt.Fries were delicious, but again the portion was very small.Service was pretty bad. Only one other table when we came in and we waited 10min for our drink order. Food came out in good time, but after we were done, we waited another 20min for our check. By this time the restaurant was empty except for us, so it wasn’t like they were busy.I hear they are on the decline. I can see why. Won’t be back.

The chicken curry was mostly cold/lukewarm. The rice has okay flavor & texture. Not bad but not good overall. Very interesting atmosphere with a mix of Greek and Egyptian decorations.

Great hummus and Greek salad to start. Good chicken shawarma with a little beby kiss of dill and cinnamon. The lighting was weird tho, I kept casting a shadow over my food and didn't like that. Food should be in the light

Owners much be having a rough time. I was charged $6-7.00 for a very small cup of orzo soup. I think I counted literally 5 pieces of orzo and some other pasta meals. Orzo is supposed to healthier and the other pasta added was definitely not the best time. However, my point was I literally paid for orzo soup. I also ordered Baklava and they said it was made on site. This place is not using the actual ingredients but plain sugar and not even quality. It wasn’t bad but it definitely could have been better. Lastly, for the fact that I paid over $20 for the pieces I bought I felt like I was at the airport and paid a lot of money for very minimal and not so good or filling food.

Spicy gyros meal for lunch included warm canned drink. Not spicy, not a recommendation at that price ($12+).

What a gem!!! A friend and I stopped in after leaving the hospital, where her son is recovering from a motorcycle accident. We googled restaurants and saw The Parthenon had 4 stars and chose to go there. Great experience. I had the grilled chicken pita meal that cane with fries and a small salad. Amazing. I am definitely going back as often as I am in the area.

Waited 20 minutes for 2 gyro with fries and there was only one other table dining …Gyro meat was skimpy and cold. Pita was also not warm and stale. Wont go back.

Always a good take-out experience. My wife and I have vastly different tastes, and we can both find something we love from their menu. The staff is always friendly as well.

I want to support this place, but our most recent food was... just not great. We ordered: 1) a greek salad with gyro: it had no olives, no pepperoncini, and very little feta. It was mostly lettuce with a few tomatoes, cukes, and onion. The dressing was so watered down it tasted like nothing; 2) tabouleh salad: again, more lettuce than tabouleh, but the worst part was the tabouleh had no dressing whatsoever -- completely dry. So we had to make a dressing to eat it; 3) dolmades: these were strange: overly spiced with cinnamon, the stuffing was ONLY rice (?!), and the topping was not parsely, but cilantro! The tahini dressing was also so watered down we didn't even use it. To top it all off, we got NO pita bread. That all cost 47 bucks (!!), and it was not good. I'm not going to give up -- we'll be back and I'll try to ask for olives, etc on my salad and I'll try the gyro wraps and hummus next time. Maybe the employee on this day was not well trained or knowledgeable about the food? That's what I'm hoping, because that is an easy fix!

Overall would not eat at this restaurant again. I got the falafel sandwich with a side of Greek style fries. The falafel was good but the tzatziki just tasted like cucumber and the fries were soggy and undercooked.

My wife and I have eaten here several times since moving nearby, and have found the food commendable and the waitstaff consistently solicitous. A recent experience has soured us considerably, however. After a long and tiring day, we ordered food on the restaurant's website in anticipation of a relaxing meal with no preparation and little cleanup. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up our food, though, the Parthenon was dark and unattended, with a sign on the door that said it was closed for maintenance. We obviously found this a bit curious, especially as we had received emails when I returned home, thanking us for our order, reminding us that we had earned points toward future meals, and asking us to rate our experience. I immediately gave them my response and asked them at least for a refund and to at least consider offering us free meal for our troubles. After waiting four days for a response which never came, I called the restaurant to request a refund and was told there was nothing they could do as their website is maintained by a service called Zuppler and that I would have to call Zuppler directly. When I asked why they couldn't handle that themselves, given the inconvenience caused, they told me it was best that I call Zuppler directly--but the person on duty didn't have a phone number for them. I would have to wait until a manager arrived for the evening to obtain that information. After about 45 minutes, the manager called back to give me Zuppler,s number, again deflecting the idea that the restaurant might want to handle the refund for us as a courtesy. When I called Zuppler, they had no customer support reps available and asked that I leave information for a callback. After another 30-minute wait, I received a callback from Zuppler, and the refund was processed--to be issued in 3-5 business days. Little was offered in the way of an apology by either side and the restaurant was unwilling to shoulder any responsibility for this inconvenience. We will miss the dining experience at the Parthenon, but we will not be returning any time soon, nor will we be recommending them, as we always have, to our friends and family.
