Bartender (girl with all the tattoos) spilled half of my drink when she was preparing it on the counter and proceeded to fill the rest up with sprite. I called it out and asked for another. She ignored me and told the other bartenders not to serve me. Also the ventilation in there is bad. Smelled like armpits and B.O

don’t waste your time coming here. they kicked me out because they thought i skipped the line. instead of checking my stamp they aggressively pushed me out of the place. then he comes back apologizing like he wasn’t just pushing me hard. it’s cramped with bad music anyway. go to brothers down the street for a better time.

The upper portion has great vibes, great drinks, and great service. The people working outside were friendly and made sure everyone was safe. Really enjoyed spending time there!

Downstairs though? Dead. We thought hey let’s make the most of it. The DJ was playing real … interesting music and no one was dancing, so I politely requested an artist from the DJ using the old phone on the head tech. He nodded and smiled, indicating that we were cool, and I was excited! Then a few minutes later the DJ, who could have politely said no from the jump, got my attention and aggressively pointed at the now flashing “no requests” sign while he smiled angrily at me. It’s reasonable as hell to not want requests, truly, but there was 0 reason to be that hateful. We left immediately, because who would feel comfortable in that environment??

Patron Saint is hands down one of the best spots in Indianapolis for live house music. The energy, sound, and vibe are consistently on point. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must if you’re into dance music and being surrounded by a lively, welcoming, diverse crowd.

Special shoutout to Whit and Jordan, two of the best bartenders I’ve ever seen. They’ve set the bar high, and while it looks like they’re transitioning to new opportunities, the rest of the bar staff continues to impress, fast, personable, and some of the most efficient in the city.

Always a good time here. Highly recommend!

Bouncers were letting people pay them $100 under the table to cut the line while they were at capacity (which they were at least 50 people passed the actual capacity so I understood making people wait). But they cut our group in half and only let our wives (who they hit on as they went down) into the bar and left the rest of us waiting in line outside for 30+ minutes. What made it worse is the people who were allowed to cut past everyone were Knicks fans that were belligerently drunk and antagonizing all the fans of our team that were patiently waiting in line. If the scenario were recorded and put on the internet they’d never get business in this city again. It was pretty embarrassing for the bar as the guys up there had no shame in taking the money right in front of all of us. I wouldn’t even care to review this trash pit, but the folks of Indy should know how our night went.

It’s a shame the security at this place is so unprofessional because they have good bar tenders, a cool basement set up, and play good music on a solid sound system. This isn’t my first questionable interaction w these guys, but it was finally enough to get me on google to review em.

Stopped by Patron Saint for a quick bite in the early evening and it was perfect. I wasn’t in the mood to go out or stay out late—just wanted something small and good before the night crowd rolled in.

Usually when I come here, it’s for the EDM club in the basement, which is a whole different vibe (and definitely fun on the right night). But this time I was just craving a really good hot dog—and they absolutely delivered.

The food came out fast, the place wasn’t too busy yet, and the boozy slushies were such a fun touch. Great spot for a quick and tasty bite before things get lively later in the night. Will definitely be back!

Basement club with small square footage but great decor and vibes. Sat night they have pop night with $20 cover unless you RSVP through do317

Amaya Tarrants

$20 cover for a half empty club is crazy.

Paid $40 on a Saturday to hear the worst music, DJ had no idea what he was doing.

I’ve been coming to the Saint Shack for years but last night was my last time… My best friend and I approached the bar while goofing around, and the door guy immediately attempted to turned us away citing we were “too intoxicated” when we were practically 100% sober. We were clearly fine and I ended up asking for another staff member and he said no! We stood our ground and he ended up backing down and letting us in because he knew he was wrong! He caused a whole scene and embarrassed us in front of a large group of other guests at the bar. We stayed for one drink, but after that we decided to go home early as our visit was already ruined… It’s literally Friday night and we were just joking and having fun. MIND YOU — this is an establishment where groups of people are permitted enter the bathrooms together, and we all know what they’re doing in there. 2 grown women who’ve barely had 1 drink beforehand should be the least of their worries. I don’t know what in the world his problem was but that’s the last time I bother. I’m cool off wasting my hard-earned money just to be treated so poorly. Reading the other reviews I wasn’t surprised at all, The staff here is notorious for mistreating guests.
