Food was. Okay. Not bad at all. The bartender kept spitting on the ground. Idk if she smokes tobacco or what but it grossed me out soooo muxh. Will not return
I stopped by the Tap to give their beers a try and to rest a bit. I ended up getting a flight of beers and a caesar salad. The beers were mostly good, and the Nefarious Nectar was easily my favorite of the bunch. They have a good tap list including brews from other places, and it was easy to navigate. The salad was also tasty, although it wasn’t my favorite rendition of the dish. My only real complaint is that the service was quite slow; it took a while to get my order in, and it took a while to get the check. That’s despite it not being terribly busy at the time. The staff was decently friendly at least, and the place was comfortable. I could see this being a good stop if you’re not short on time.
Had an incredible time! Server Izzy was incredibly efficient, personable and super knowledgeable about the menu!
Izzy is exceptional! Very knowledgeable about what food on the menu is gluten free, and she made our dining experience a 10/10. Great staff at this location.
Great food! My only real issue is that it took very long for our entrees to arrive after the appetizers.
I’ve been to the tap weekly (at minimum) for over a year now and have always received awesome service from each and every waiter and waitress. In my opinion, The Tap has the best food and beverages in Indianapolis for a very affordable price. Additionally, I’d like to give a shout out to Madeline as her prompt service to myself as well as all the family and friends I’ve brought throughout my visits here has been fantastic. The attentiveness and witty conversations have accentuated an already great experience. As long as I’m in Indy, I will be coming back!
P.S. as a massive sports fan, the two giant projectors are sweet for watching anything!
My husband and I tried to go here, in order to be able to make an event that was being hosted here. We went with our 4 week old and upon walking in we were rudely greeted and told it was a 21 and up bar. With this being said, we were not asked for our ID along with anyone else with us (all in our mid twenties), so they picked and choose what rules to follow. Our 4 week old is definitely not able to order a drink, much less walk or talk to access anything. I realize it might be a little crazy to bring a 4 week old out, but this was the only option for us to both be able to make it to the event. Not sure how this would be otherwise as we left and our friends who stayed were not asked for their ID to get in or to order a drink.
Emilee was so sweet and made the experience super fun!! I also loved the blueberry pomegranate sour beer i had :)
Emilee was a great bartender! Great fast service!
Just wanted to applaud the team. We were here on likely the busiest day of the year with IU bball play and the. The big ten championship in town. They absolutely hustled and kept their cool. We sat at the bar for several hours and the team just managed it. Nice work team. Food was delish too!!
