Welp! If I could give it a zero I would because you can’t rate the food if you haven’t had it BUT the staff service was poor and the atmosphere is a bar that was very unwelcoming when I walked in. I called ahead of time, asked about the wing deal, was not told it was dine-in. I get there, can’t eat in because I have my kiddo (which is fine because it’s a bar), but now I can’t even eat because I’m jus now being told that the wing deals are only dine-in. The lady tells me “well everyone knows that”… VERY RUDE 🙄 Clearly not ma’am.

The tenderloin was burnt and the whole meal was low quality and thrown away. I won't be back. Who ever listed the tenderloin as great owes me 18.50. And a roll of tums.

Had the Tenderloin and Tots. The other meal was a Chicken Quesadilla. Both very good. The cook was working harder than our server. Once our meals were delivered our server didn't come back until she brought our check. No drink refills. She seemed to be more involved with the regulars. It's a welcoming place, quiet, had the game on. I would go back there. The food was awesome. I can't let one waitress ruin good food.
First time visiting with my dog and let’s just say I’m impressed. They have private cabanas for you to eat in and the food was delicious.

This picture is not The Thristy Turtle. That was an old name of a bar on Meridian. And that bar sucks. Now however there is a bar called "The Thirsty Turtle TWO." It is located near Main Street in Beech Grove and has cheap wings Monday, affordable beer, and a decent set up. Don't care for the day time bar tender but the owner is a sweetheart.
