GO TO CLAYTONS INSTEAD!!! Showed up here completely sober an hour and a half before close ready to spend some money on cover and drinks and all the doors were locked. When my friend and I tried to come in we were shoved back outside and asked why we were blocking the door and why we would think it was okay to come inside? Idk bc you advertise closing at 3am and it’s only 4 degrees outside. The bouncers were not letting anyone in, even people with groups already inside. Without any explanation. If you advertise closing at 3 then I could understand locking the doors at like 2:45 but the treatment we got was completely uncalled for and aggressive for no reason. We will not be back and I will be telling all my friends not to come back as well. Trash establishment. Clayton’s staff was so professional and kind and the environment was really fun. If you’re looking for a place to spend a weekend night, don’t bother with tin roof. It has gone completely downhill

My friend and I showed up at 2am Friday night when they advertise closing at 3am. Wouldn't let us in despite there being people in the bar still. It's 4 degrees out, they couldn't let two people in an hour before they close lol. The bouncers were extremely rude to two sober customers who were ready to spend some money. Absolutely will not be back. Save yourself some time and go to Clayton's instead.

Rolled into Tin Roof around 2pm, which is basically the golden hour for people who enjoy good food and personal space. Downtown was calm before the Pacers storm, and for a glorious moment, I had the whole place to myself like I’d accidentally rented it out for a private lunch.

The bar staff? Absolute rockstars. The kind of friendly where you start wondering if you should tip extra or just invite them to Thanksgiving.

Started things off with a Salty Watermelon, and let me tell you — that drink is dangerous in the best possible way. Sweet, refreshing, and the kind of cocktail that whispers, “Hey… you don’t really need responsibilities today.”

Then came the world‑famous chicken strips, and for once, the hype was real. Perfectly seasoned, hand‑breaded, and cooked so well I considered writing a thank‑you note to the fryer. Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside — basically the Beyoncé of chicken strips. The OG Tin Roof sauce? Elite. The fries? Crispy enough to make you feel like the universe is finally on your side.

Cold drinks kept arriving at the exact moment I started thinking, “Hmm… I could use another.” That’s service excellence right there.

Eventually the pre‑game crowd rolled in, jerseys and all, and that was my cue to exit before things shifted from “chill lunch vibes” to “sports bar thunder dome.”

Bottom line:
If you want great food, cold drinks, and a laid‑back atmosphere, hit Tin Roof during the day.
If you want the party, the noise, and the full game‑day chaos, they’ve got that too.
Either way, you’re winning.

The bar staff were very dishonest. I left my card and my account open, and I kept consuming. In the end, they charged me for 12 cans of High Noon, when I only drank 5. I questioned this, and a waiter came and said I had consumed 8, so he swiped my card charging me for 8 when in fact it was 5. If I consumed 5, they charged me for 8, so why did they give me a bill for 12? This situation is regrettable. I hope he doesn't do this to people who drink too much and don't know what they're paying for.

And what's more, that waiter treated me terribly, he was very agitated and threatened me, dishonest and a bad character.

It was nice, just didn't appreciate people standing and leaning over our booth. It was uncomfortable, they should block off that area.

Very fun bar. The live music rivaled most concerts I’ve been to recently. The place was packed but the bartenders really hustled and were very friendly. Drinks were a good price, especially considering the downtown location. Our new go-to spot downtown!

Love visiting this bar, but there's slowly been a crater developing in the floor that needs to be fixed. Almost tripped while walking to the restroom countless times.

Can't tell you how many times I've made clear eye contact with the bartender to be kept waiting. I'm not entitled or anything but after making eye contact, you proceed to pour shots socialize and take shots with your friends before I get served is crazy to think about. But hey it is what it is 2 stars for service. Music is cool tho

Wow the blonde woman at the front who was taking money for the cover is extremely rude and unprofessional. She is hostile and aggressive towards paying customers. This is how staff treats people? I won’t be back.

Honky Tonkin’ type place . You definitely are in a BAR. I happen to love that ! I noticed that there are eleven (11) reports of assault that were all made 7 years ago about the same incident and I found the story a bit histrionic- so ignore it- hoping to get there this weekend !

Walked in and sat at the bar. Watched the bartenders chatting with each other and flipping thru their phones. Waved one over and asked for a menu. Was informed that only fried foods were available on the menu that night. Waited 10-15 mins to place my order while watching the bartenders continue to talk to each other. Finally, I just left.
